When I first got Dreadwind, I was INCREDIBLY impressed by him. His colours are fantastic!

So I was eager to get his mate Blackwing.

Together they would both be my first iteration of these characters as I've yet to get their G1 counterparts.

And then the day arrived that I was able to put them side by side. And you know what? Blackwing's colours just weren't as much fun as Dreadwind's.

Both are fantastic figures, but Dreadwind simply has the better colour scheme.

So I'm curious as to what you other fine folk out there think who is the better out of these two guys. Vote and share your thoughts!

I agree that Dreadwind is the more appealing figure, but the color scheme isn't the main reason. It's the fact that all Darkwing has is a single flimsy plug to connect the 2 of them together. Combining in jet mode was a unique feature to the 2 of them in G1, and it got ruined by a mediocre design. Otherwise they're 2 of my favorite deluxe figures in Prime Wars.

I do like Dreadwind more.
