okay, before crucifying me and say oh no another topic on masterpiece prime!!! dude how many does he has to make?
the reason i kept refering to this topic is because i'm unable to get one, and i saved over 400 bucks!!! my local toy store still didn't get it back in stock. if anyone can clear out my question, then i will be satisify. btw i asked the clerk on the phone, and none of them has any idea when will they be receiving the figure again. honestly i saw the mp-04 in store last month, the reason i didn't get it then was simply because i didn't have enough money on it. now i have, but they're out of stock. so if anyone here can tell me whether takara had officially announced stop manufacturing the toy or if it is very scarce and takara is now trying to satisfy demand in time as possible. if that's the case, is it any possible to get one by next month, august?

OK, well, good luck then. That aint happening unless you happen to be the luckiest SOB in Canada.
If you wanted to buy it in person, you probably should have thought about that about a year ago.

i appologize, my bad, bonger for my tone. my store carries this item, but it is out of stock, so i was wondering, bonger, what is stopping the store to have them in stock, because i seen one in store last month in person, because i don't have the money back then, so i didn't buy it.
this is one store i've been talking about, and it's online, but also can get one in store too.

No worries. However, if they are out of stock, they are not gonna get more. As far as I know, they are not being made anymore.

when takara makes an MP whatever release, they make xyz units of it, then stop.
The only time they did differently was with MP 05 megatron, and they announced (so i heard) that they were going to release another run of him due to the instant-national sell-out of him. notice how we're talking about MP05. Because they're Finished with Mp 04. And now, they are about to release MP 06. Note how they haven't said anything about MP04 since when they released it over a year ago.

well i'm gonna speak to the manager of that store, cuz he claims they're expecting a 3rd wave of the toy, and they're increasing the price, 320 tax included once they do receive the figure, they didn't say it was discontinue, but just wasn't sure when they're getting one. god, if you're right, then that was the only one i saw in store is actually the last one!!!!

Yes, heres a link:

Already pre-ordered mine =]

hopefully though, MP-07 or 08 will be a re-release of MP-05 with the stock and silencer, just like they did with MP-01 and MP-04

That won't happen because it is a different company making the stock and silencer. I believe it is Justitoys that makes it so they have no ties with Takara.

the shipping fee for both hq-action toys and toywiz, and especially toywiz are demanding outrageously. ranging from $69-95 bucks. $69 bucks for hq action, and toywiz $95 bucks. the figure itself cost 299.99 plus shipping fee at the checkout table is $395 buck US plus canadian dollars convertion is around $420 bucks!!!!
do you think that i'm that eager and desperate to own that toy. that's like an month of my salary!!
so if anyone can give me a cheaper shipping fee to the toy would greatly appreciated. or i can just wait eternally until my local store to have them instock, or if for sure they're definitely gonna get some.
btw any country that is outside of US is considered paying international shipping order. you guys may live in US, so you don't have to pay that much!!

oh we know how much you want one
if you wanna put faith in the store manager go ahead, but you should seriously bite the bullet and get one online, even though shipping sucks.
i've had to get all mine online and not at a store, so don't feel too bad.

btw decepticonjon, do you live in the states? if so you probably don't need to pay nearly a hundred bucks shipping to get a single figure. let me guess, all you pay is around 20-30 bucks shipping fee to get one?

just place the order a minute ago, but the item is in back order, what's an back order anyway. i was so thrilled that the toy cost $322.68 US include shipping fee!!
btw i spoke to the girl on the phone saying the toy is discontinued, and you have to fork out 400 bucks for it, cuz we had to pay the money ourselves to give you this toy...

Try ebay.
One was just sold for 187.50, although the shipping was outragous like you said, 64.
They usually range from 180-250, but you have to find a good deal on shipping. One is 11.00 for shipping, another 17.49, and 64.99.

btw how can you tell whether a toy is discontinued or not, especially the masterpiece collection from takara. do you read the announcement by takara specifically online. p.s is megatron and starscream still on sales, cuz local store has them instock a lot.

You should probably look harder on ebay, you can find good deals if you're patient. Like i did last week.
