I have been studing starscream, skywarp, and ramjet. For a couple of days now trying to figure out how they could improve the mold if they decide to make the rest of the seekers.
For thundercracker I was thinking what would be cool is if they gave him the clear blue plastic treatment to back of his head so that when you hold him up to the light the eyes glow blue.
For sunstorm I was thinking what would be cool is if they gave him the clear yellow plastic treatment to back of his head so that when you hold him up to the light the eyes glow yellow.
For thrust I was thinking what if the fans on his wings acctual moved.
For dirge I was thinking a dark blue almost black with gold paint for the wings.
I would love to hear other people thoughts on what they should do if they release the rest of the seekers.

I like your ideas, but I think Sunstorm shouldn't be included as a classic seeker, I don't understand why he is so popular he is just a filler/error character from G1.

I like these ideas, I just doubt the fact that the Seekers, unlike most Classics, will ever have eyes that "light-up" other than the Conehead possibly. Having Ramjet already though, it's not gonna happen. I like the idea of Thrust's fans being able to actually spin. That was one thing I hated about G1 Thrust........As for Dirge, I think the only thing he needs is a re-mold of wings & a nice shade of blue. Not too close to the black-ish blue you described, but more along the lines of his G1 color scheme. As for Sunstorm, go w/the colors he had in G1 ongoing. That should do the trick. As i said in another thread though, I think Seeker Clones from WWI Vol. 3 would be awesome. For either the Classics line or the Titanium line since they were a part of WWI & had the same alt. mode as Starscream, Thundercracker & Skywarp.

(off topic)
I just need to find Ramjet and i'll be OK since I have all the other g1 seekers already!!
I'm tired of driving to walmart and target.

Light piping would be a cool feature, but since we already have two versions of the seeker mould without it (the 'classic' seeker and the 'conehead' seeker), I can't see it happening.
Thundercracker would be very cheap and easy to produce as a straight repaint of Starscream / Skywarp. I don't know whether Hasbro believes the fan interest is there for the character though...
Thrust and Dirge would both be very cool to have, and would only require a retooling of the main wing sections from Ramjet. It'd still be more expensive to produce than Thundercracker though, so refer back to the fan interest comment above.
If these three don't make it as Classics releases, I'd be astonished if we don't see near-pro kitbashes of all of them.

what we really need is someone to just start making repro seekers from these new molds.

I have a feeling we'll see Thundercracker and/or Sunstreaker as BotCon exclusives. I would love to see Classics Thrust and Dirge. It's too bad the Classics line is mostly just filler until the movie stuff. They've done some great figures so far and I could see them getting another year or two out of it, at the very least.

Why should Thundercracker feature fluorescent blue eyes? The original incarnation of the character featured red eyes like most other Decepticons.
If one is particularly desperate for a Thundercracker, it's quite easy to repaint Classics Starscream into him. I have little ability in these sorts of actions and the design was quite simple.

Thrust is the favourite Conehead amongst a large number of fans (myself included), he was by far the best looking conehead IMO. So I cant see any problem with spending a little extra producing him.
If that happens, Hasbro only have one repaint to complete the origanal trio, and one minor remold/repaint to complete the Coneheads, and if the majority of fans already have the other 4 seekers (which a lot of fans will) the mere fact they could complete the seekers would ensure that the remaining two sell well enough. Course I could be wrong.

Why there isn't a Thundercracker yet is beyond me, outside of the exclusives deal. Dirge would easily enough be a repaint of Ramjet, but Thrust would take some work. I know others have said this already, I'm just weighing in because I'd love to have the rest of the Seekers done Classics style. Pardon my redundancy.

Looking at Ramjet, I don't think Dirge would be that easy. If memory serves, he just had the regular F-15 jets in his feet; none in his wings. Given how they did Ramjet, I don't know if this'll work so easily. Perhaps getting the wings to rotate on the feet jet nozzle would work. *shrug*
