Was it? Only the Deluxe Class was pretty lopsided in the Autobots' favor, the others were pretty balanced.

Really now?

Battle Masters: 4 :BOT: vs 3 :CON:

Micromasters:: 4 Sets :BOT: vs 3 :CON: Sets

Deluxe Class:: 10 :BOT: vs 4 :CON:

Voyager Class: 2 :BOT: vs 4 :CON:
This one, as established, is kind of an anomaly.

Leader Class: 2 :BOT: vs 1 :CON:

Commander Class: A single :BOT: , Jetfire.

Titan Class: Again, a single :BOT: which is to say Omega Supreme plus his micromaster buddy.

Even taking the exclusives into account as their own category we get 6 :BOT: vs 2 :CON:

What's your point, the ONLY even numbered class to be lopsided in the Autobots' favor is the deluxe class, just as Jelze said (plus you forget that our decepticon deluxe troops are increased by an additional 2 for the extra reflectors, which the case breakdown accounts for). And instead the voyagers, the bigger bots are in favour of Decepticons.

Which makes perfect sense, the whole point of this line is to emulate the first few episodes of G1 where we see that the autobots are more numerous than decepticons, but the Decepticons are bigger.

So kudos to Hasbro for finding a balance in the autobots and decepticon releases this year and taking it to a narrative level rather than a simplistic and innacurate by the numbers class breakdown.

This is true especially if you look at characters where prime is repeated in voyager and leader so you wouldn't have them fighting side by side. Plus even in the toon, Autobots outnumbered cons ;)

I'm hoping for an eventual Runamuck/Runabout ... I was never able to track down the expensive exclusives.

I never meant "balanced" to be "1 for 1" but close to that. The Deluxe Class does stand out the most with the most figures overall, but Voyager Class would too in the other direction had it more figures. Also makes sense as the Jets (scaled to the same 1-inch pilots for the Cars) and Microman-derived toys (roughly 1:1 aka life-size scale) were bigger than the Diaclones.

So..am I missing something? I followed the Weibo link, and translated the page into English, I didn't see anything seeming to indicate the next part of the trilogy would be name Armageddon ...

Doesn’t that seem like a better title for, oh I don’t know, the end of the series?

I haven’t seen it anywhere I’m just taking the word of people much smarter than myself.

There was some company text with that name on the page back on the day it was first posted, but was immediately deleted minutes later.

Thanks for the responses. Too bad someone couldn't have captured that before it was taken down, oh well...I can be patient and stand by.

Possibly, but I've always looked at things differently. Sure there have been cataclysmic events in the past, that could be defined as *world ending* (i.e. Armageddon) events. But its always followed by a new beginning, and someone always survives. *Armageddon* could be the dark middle chapter of this trilogy, before the ultimate *Victory* to conclude things 8-)

I get that, but honestly, since coming back with CW, I've gotten a modernization of almost every character I really like, and now my absolute favorite is only a couple of months away. Star Saber and Deszaurus modern updates are begging to be released, if not in 2020, then 2021 for sure. Between :HASBRO: & :TAKARATOMY: , pretty much every other major faction leader (except Scorponok and Black Zarak) have been released. I'm almost certain we will see that Titan before this Trilogy's end as well.

If it wasn't for Predaking breaking the pattern, I would have believed for certain that Scorpy would have been the titan following Omega as till pred, the releases were bot, con, bot, con

I felt the exact same way, but now we have had 6 titan class toys total, 3 for each faction. 2020 could go either way. With Scorponok being *seemingly* the only one left, it seems obvious.

I don't think they would do a Titan Size Unicron for this line, as it would just not scale well with the others, even if it were the biggest of all at some ridiculous 36 inch $350 price point.

The only other 18 inch Combiner Titan I could see being released is Raiden, but as others have stated, that is not likely. OR...They could release Monstructor at Titan Scale 18 inch, THAT would be pretty awesome. But then with 2 Cons' in a row... it would leave things uneven.....who knows, just wild speculation at this point.

Raiden would be cool to see, with voyager sized train components, that shouldn't suffer too much with alt mode sacrifices.

Now as for the planet bots, there's no way to scale them, so to that effect I don't think they would need titan class, maybe a representation in the commander class and have them just scale with each other. I mean even using the world's smallest tfs, unicron would still be larger then a house

That excited about Impactor? I guess I get that.

Just kidding, Omega Supreme is looking fantastic and makes me super glad I had patience to wait for it instead of scratching the itch with a 3rd party figure.

Yeah, I've resisted the urge to purchase 3P figures as well. The only one that still holds any interest for me now is FP SAURUS RYU-OH & it's repaint Beastructor. I can wait 2 more years. Hopefully Hasbro or TT will reward my patience with a nice new Monstructor, Dinoking, or BOTH.

So once Scorponok is done who even IS left for Titan Class? I know people say 'Raiden' but I highly doubt it. Seems like the class has pretty much done everyone they could do. Monstructor getting a size upgrade maybe? :-?

Worst case Scenario: Scorponok is the Last Titan Toy for a while.

Best case Scenario: Scorponok, Raiden, Monstructor, & Galaxy Shuttle.

This would give us Titans through 2023, and a Nice Symmetry of 5 good and 5 Evil.

*Edit* Majin Zarak would be cool...Not sure how that would work though. I always envisioned if I was Super Rich I would have kit bashed a USS Flag and made my own 8-) :-D

We can't even get Star Saber or Deathsaurus and you dare bring up Majin Zarak? You absolute lunatic!

Edit: Galaxy Shuttle would work better as a Commander class.

Pretty much, except they can now be weaponised :)
Even though I really enjoyed the multiplayer of the first two games and arriving on the battlefield as a dropping comet in the first was kind of cool, but no excuse to ditch the ark. I forget in which comics (probably UK) the ark thought earth vehicles were the sentient beings on Earth so that's why it scanned them.

Probably not (at all). The UK followed the first issues of the US comic, in which the Ark thought the machines were sentient.
