Calling all Transformers Animated fans! This is the thread for you! Here you can feel free to show off your Animated collections, debate design choices or just vent over the releases we never got (or released just in one country).

As for me, I'm just starting out rebuilding my Animated collection, so I'll be posting it here as and when I add to it.

So show the world what you got!

The Deluxe Earth mode Optimus Prime is one of the unsung heroes of the line. Many people buy him just to get the axe he come with, but he is a good toy on his own.
And in my opinon he scales better with the rest of the line.
I will admit that battle damage could've been done in other manners but he still is a good toy.

I wasn't aware they did a non battle damage version, was that from the pack with Blackarachnia?

As far as I'm aware,he is a Takara lottery prize, from what I can see from the TF Wiki.

I would still like if they released the Wingblade toy.

He could also wield the Leader class Ultra Magnus Hammer

After searching for a while, I found some pics with the Wingblade armor on a deluxe Optimus

Yeah, that's what I told her...

TFA is my 3rd favorite continuity after the Marvel comics and Beast Wars.

It's tied for 2nd favorite toy line with the Prime Wars trilogy after Siege (and possibly its sequels).

I'll post pics of my Animated collection later (they're in storage now), and as for something I wish we got in the toy line, I really REALLY wanted HasTak (or even a 3P company!) to make a kit for the BotCon 2011 Stunticon set that allows them to combine into Menasor, and possibly have it be able to turn into a trailer for Motormaster.

Lovely collection TulioDude

Longarm Prime would like to remind all officers of the importance of accurately quoting enemy slogans in intelligence reports, especially the titles thereof, to avoid causing confusion. Incorrect quotations can result in the risk of operatives, especially junior operatives, overlooking the real slogans when they hear them - and as head of intelligence, Longarm Prime cannot tolerate such oversights.
As Longarm Prime is dedicated to the Autobot cause, this desire for intelligence integrity is his only reason for insisting on this accuracy.
Really.

Well, you'll probably find a Shockwave before I find a gun for mine.
Also, did you pick up on the hint? :P

So the first in my resurrected Animated collection arrived this morning (with some force by the postman), and it was Blazing Lockdown. Its been so long since I last held this mold, I've forgotten how good it is, a fantasic toy but marred by one little niggle. His chainsaw weapon, I'd have preferred it to fold away like the hook on the original deco but c'est la vie. Though one good thing is that as his front is missing the silver paint apps, there's no paint to get scratched during the Transformation  I'll take pictures later, possibly when Jazz arrives. At the moment Lockdown is chilling with RiD Warrior Class Fracture.

Somehow I haven't posted in here yet.

Here is my Animated collection. It has my favorites pretty much, with the entire main Autobot cast and most of the secondary cast, minus Sentinel Prime. I love Animated the show so much. Animated bots are on my list of things to watch for at TFcon this year. Find Sentinel and maybe get some Cons while we're at it.

Good collection D-Max! Got a few there I'm after like Safeguard and Blur. Snarl and Jazz arrived the other day and I'm always impressed by the Dinobots transformation. What I'm really waiting for though, is Prowl to get here. The deluxe Prowl is one of the best in the line, Samurai Prowl even more so... That version evades me for now.

Safeguard is utterly unique in our fandom, and I love them even more for that!

Blurr is incredible. I'm pretty sure he is my favorite and also the best of the entire line. He also came from Carytheone with Ironhide and Jazz. That was one of the greatest quality hauls i have ever gotten.

Magnus came from Scramjet back right after I graduated, and he is great! THAT is a mighty leader figure!

Samurai Prowl was the lone animated figure I bought at the time they were on shelves individually. I have never regretted that

Loved my Longarm Shockwave and Cybertron Mode Ratchet, great toys with oddly smooth joints. Can't sympathize on Safeguard though, that was one fiddly combiner

Maybe. He's kind of low on the list. If i see him at TFcon for a good price, I'd jump. But I'm not actively hunting him

It will forever irk/anger me we never got Sari in her reformatted state in toy form. Then again I can say that about most humans in the franchise.

There might have been more plans with her had the cartoon continued most likely. On what could have been.

Prowl arrived this morning and I fell in love all over again. Though I was naughty and placed an order for Animated Swoop, so now I just need Grimlock to complete the Dinobots.

I'm doing a bit of an Animated appreciation week this week, with the 5 primary cast toys getting some nice spotlights.

Today was the first that I got: Bumblebee! I got him in the 2008 3-pack, and I have adored him. I loved him in the show too, the scrappy mouthy young punk. And the toy is pretty good too.

He was the first transformer I handled when I started collecting again as an adult that had a faux chest but damn I loved his feet conversion. He's a little toy with a lot of personality.
