Replaces the axe with Alpha Trion's sword.

Thanks to Seibertronians D-Maximal Primal and Powered Convoy, we have news to bring you of another Takara Tomy Mall exclusive in the Siege line! As you can see below, the popular Voyager Class mold of Optimus Prime is getting released as his fairly regular Decepticon mold mate/counterpart, Nemesis Prime! Nemesis is looking good in his usual teal and black livery. In addition to the ion blaster that comes with the mold, according to the Japanese text, he also comes with a sword, which is a black and pink redeco of the sword that came with Titans Return Alpha Trion. The order period is from Friday, September 13th, to Tuesday, October 15th, and the figure will be made available in March 2020, costing ¥6480, which is almost exactly $60 USD at current exchange rates.















Given that all Takara Tomy Mall exclusives in the last year or so (Seacons, Star Convoy, etc.) have also been made available in the U.S., it's likely that Siege Nemesis Prime will be as well, but there's no official word on that so far.

we probably will, considering all the other TT mall exclusives this year has been made available through generation selects. i don't see any reason for them to do it differently for this particular ones.

I may end up picking this figure up. But, if they do Toxitron, tha's a definite buy for me. Nemesis Prime's great, but I like the idea of Toxitron being a failed clone and Nemesis being the "perfect" clone.

Also, is it just me, or does Nemesis Prime's badge look like it has battle damage?

The sword is a nice touch... already have the potp nemesis prime... he’s so good looking my gf has given her permission to display him in the living room rather than the collection room

This is my favourite mode of prime thus far, but one version is enough. Unless they come up with an earth mode version basically just removing those extra cab bits on the roof....

I'd like to see a Toxitron. Maybe a new, damaged headsculpt. As for that badge... that looks like a sticker. And I pray that it's just for this stock photo and they aren't going back to stickers on Voyagers.

Daggum. Thats sharp. If I didnt already have the POTP Nemesis I would be alll over this, but I cant bring myself to double dip this soon.

Calling it now: third party upgrade kit to make him Scourge.

If they had remolded the head like they did for POTP Nemesis Prime I would be all over this... (also my post never get posted... so here's to me sharing my opinions in a void).

aww, do we have to? If they release a Nemesis, we want Scourge. If tgey do Scourge, its "where is Nemesis"? Scourge has a few good toys recently, and thee only way ypu can dovthose shoulder pylons is removable Kibble, they won't fit with the jetpack/truck roof.

the paint apps are a bit weird. red metalic for the windows on one part and then it transitions to teal metallic on the other part? that's... that is a weird looking window if you think about it. it's cool that they managed two colors of transparent plastic on the windows and lights/grill though, thats pretty rare for hastak to bother with when the original was monocolor. It's weirder still because they can't possibly have done the last part of the window a different color for robot mode aesthetics, because it's the flip down arm panel, it's not visible on that side in robot mode.

I miss the days when a Black repaint of Prime as Nemesis was only *every once in a while*, not a guaranty on every version of Prime.

The thing is, TakaraTomy Mall has labeled this figure as "Transformers: Siege" rather than "Transformers: Generations Selects" like they have with Star Convoy and the Seacons.

True, but the curious thing is that, as has been said previously, the page bills the figure as coming with *two* swords. I wonder if they're both the AT sword or if the second one is a lie

Silly Stryker, they don't do kits like that for SIEGE. We'll just get a kit with smokestack extensions and an assortment of random weapons.

Kinda lame without the battle damage imo, that would have made him feel more special. For some reason this mold never really captured me, and it's not doing it as nemesis either. I think it looks great, just not something I'm dying to have like other prime molds.
