Got my Iacon Pkg Today - It Rocks!!!!

Man I got my Iacon pkg today and I am floored by how cool it is. I thought the packaging was gorgeous. And I really dug the card stock tech specs, certificate of authenticity, and Timelines comic that featured the Classics characters. My shelf of Classics Decepticons looks sooooo freaking good right now (and complete too)!

I know many people feel Fun Pub ripped us collectors off but here's one collector that is very glad I shelled out the coin to get this set! The only two things that slightly bothered me was that the joints at Dirge's waist for his legs are loose and the figures didn't seem like they were put in the foam casing very carefully. Otherwise this set just kicks ass!!

So my next question is how are others enjoying their sets and now completed seekers collection?

I'm loving mine too. I know they were expensive, but the club picked up where Hasbro dropped the ball. If it wasn't for the club, we would not have these at all!

Welcome to the tribe!

I'm always torn when looking at these toys.

I want to pick em up and move them around and such, but I never know where to start.

My first Botcon set and I couldn't be happier. What impresses me a lot is actually the box. If i really wanted to, I could just pop those bad boys back in everything would look all new and neat again. Not like I'd want them in the box in the first place...

They all look so good displayed together.

I wish I could but I don't own a digital camera and my wife's nice digital camera is with her at work. She's taking pics because she's moving on to a different job.

I'm sitting around wait for FedEX to show up. It says that mine is on the truck ready to be delivered. I hate FedEX :-( all they ever have given me is a giant headache.

Yikes, I'm sorry to hear about that Cyber Bishop. Although I'm sure that if you called funpub they'd get you the items you're missing.

I failed to mention that I was not plagued with the two right or two left launcher problems that other people had. Oh thank god. I would not want to have to struggle to get that problem resolved. :P

**Update**

Juat received the set about an hour ago. It brought a feeling of happiness to my black heart :D I'll give a Short review.

First of all the box looks great and I was suprised to find a comic with it plus really nice tech specs. Oh, and a pin.

Bugbite: cool but not the reason I got the set. I love the Red eyes though. 8.5/10

Dirge: I love him, but I'm not in love with him. colors are nice and he looks great with the other seekers. (by the way mine had the correct missle launchers)8/10

Dreadwind: A little bland but I love the new head sculpt 8/10

Thrust: The reason I bought the set he does'nt disappoint at all, great color scheme and the remolded wings make him a figure to get even for 150 bucks. 10/10

Thundercracker: Nice to finish the original three seekers he is better than Starscream but he not as nice as Skywarp. I wish he had a "Classics" wing design instead of the G1. 9/10

Well thats my take on them overall a solid set and well worth the money I paid for it. 9/10

Got mine today too and everything was in perfect shape and other than a few loose joints they look great stacked up with the rest of the Decepticons.

Was very much worth the price I paid when they still had sets available.

Still need to read the comic I'm very curious to see what's going on.

Now I just need to get my hands on a clear Mirage and I'll have a finished 2007 set.

This is my first Botcon set and I'm definately getting next year's and will work on getting the previous ones slowly.
