Yeah and I didn't realize just how big the box for the PoTP figure is, there's so much unused space in there. I know the figure itself is a bit larger, but the ER box is almost half the size of the PoTP box.

Thanks! I'll be sure to keep that in mind. I do enjoy the thrill of the hunt, though, so I'm going to tough it out a little while longer to find the set in the wild myself. It makes it all the more satisfying.

For those who have Doubledealer, is it worth buying? I'm planning on getting the Generations Selects cassette 4-pack that has Frenzy and Wingthing (just in case that Soundwave we saw in the leaked photos alongside the Cyclonus and Ramjet is a retool with a different alt mode), and seeing as that set has Knok and Skar as well I feel as if I should get Doubledealer to go along with them, but is it a decent enough figure?

Me, I'll buy Doubledealer full price when I'll find it in stores. As for the cassettes pack, I stupidly missed out on the preorders so I had no choice but to pay 20$CAN extra to a reseller/scalper.

I got my set about $15+ extra from a reseller but I had an excuse for missing out on preorders; I was out in the New Mexico desert doing cool tank stuff and my old phone was on its last leg so I couldn’t even get on the internet much less than stay in contact with my folks back home

It’s even worse with Spy Patrol 2nd Unit (Rumble and Ratbat). Impossible to find, and they were on the shelves for about 5 seconds. I keep hoping they will be re-released in Earthrise like a few of the other Siege figures (Astrotrain, Direct-Hit and Power Punch, Smashdown, Rung, etc.) as I never had a chance to snag them.

Never ever saw the Ratbat set either.

I saw the Selects cassette pack in Toys R Us just a few days ago (up here in Canada) ... but I don't want it . I have a whole cassette army, so I'm fine with using MP cassettes in my display. I don't need to go on a whole cassette journey with a new size.

Well looks like I was right about at least some wave 2 stuff showing up in the first week of July. I was just thinking it would be a little closer to home... . Oh well.

Thanks to Seibertronian LinaNui, we have word of some brand new images of the upcoming War for Cybertron: Earthrise Sunstreaker, courtesy of SnakasBlog. Sideswipe's twin is shown off here in all his yellow glory, coming only with his air intake as an accessory, which doubles as his weapon. He also has some sweet disco moves!











While it appears he may share some engineering with Earthrise Wheeljack, no parts appear to be the same between the two. Sunstreaker is due out in the late third or early fourth quarter of this year, along with wavemate Trailbreaker.

Now that we've got some clearer images, including the back of the figure, is this one you'll be adding to your collection? Let us know below, and stay tuned for the latest news!

I think I'll try to pick him up if I can, I had universe Sunstreaker but the mold never gelled with me. I think I like it best when Streaker and Sideswipe have their own unique molds and differing transformation schemes

Sunstreaker's actually looking really good, especially from the back. I'll probably pick him up, but I'd love to see a Lockdown repaint/remold in either Selects or the mainline. New hands (like Impactor with the 5mm ports on the non hand side), hook instead of the supercharger (or in addition to), a new head, and maybe new feet/front end of the car.

Why yes I am desperate for a new version of the Animated style Lockdown, why do you ask?

Definitely getting him. And definitely giving him a gun from the Centurion weapons pack. The double barreled hair dryer isn't doing it for me.

Is the Autobot Alliance two pack still happening?

I preordered him many months ago from Pulse. He was an auto-buy, as he is far-and-away the best mainline version of Sunstreaker ever designed, like the vast majority of the WFC Trilogy line so far.

If that's the Ironhide/Prowl two-pack, then the reason it's not on the Wiki is because it hasn't been officially revealed yet. The Wiki can only list products that have been revealed through official channels.

Definitely gonna get that sunstreaker. I like his proportion way more than the classic version. Leaving some part of the car windows on the back of the leg is a good decision, as it makes his chest more comfortable to look at.

I'm keeping Universe Sunstreaker, but I'd be down for the inevitable Selects Spinout repaint.

I'm hoping for a Cordon repaint myself, though Spin Out wouldn't go amiss.

I'll pick him up if they do earthrise sideswipe. I prefer the classics car mode with the cthru plastic headlights.
