I finally found the Wave 2 Earthrise Micromasters! I've got the Astro Squad and the Race Track Patrol now. I guess that might be it for mainline Micromasters for now. I hope we get a few more repaints, at least, via store exclusives or Generations Selects. I also had my first sighting of Wave 2 Earthrise Battle Masters in the Twin Cities. Unfortunately, it was all just Rung, no Slitherfangs in sight. Still no trace at all of Deluxe Wave 2 either.

I guess Target heard how Amazon was treating the Seeker 2-pack during shipping and said hold my beer. It was in a box so no idea why the additional sticker on the window. I don't save boxes but I would imagine a collector would have a fit.

Went to my Target hoping to find something good teh other day, found The Seeker 2 pack on the shelf and it was the last one. I left it though because I didn't need another one. I did find Slitherfang, who I was looking for to begin with. Sadly the shelves were kinda stocked with plenty of Grapples ( and a couple of Starscream to be fair) and nothing but leader class Shockwave from Seige.

My local Target got in one case of Earthrise wave 1 and then replaced it with wave 1 Siege Battlemasters after they sold out. Last I checked, around a week ago, there was nothing on the peg but Blowpipe and Lionizer. Going back today to see what's shown up, I only have something like 4 or 5 figures left that I don't have or have pre-ordered.

Shocking, still nothing but Siege wave 1 Battlemasters.

Originally, I was pretty heated when we all heard about ER Datsuns after buying all the Seige Datsuns. But after opening and playing with Smokescreen a bit, there's room for both. The each do things a little different and there are enough design differences it doesn't feel like a retread of the same thing. The guns are cool, the Seige shoulder guns could merge into a second pistol while the ER shoulder guns can attach to the primary gun to make a triple barreled blaster. Deginitely happy with my purchase.

Thanks for the comparison shot. Can you do another quick one with the shoulder weapons swapped? I want to see Earthrise Smokescreen with the more screen accurate shoulder cannons of the Siege/Selects figure.

Sure thing...

ER Smokescreen's head is a bit bigger so I had to put the white shoulder guns with the clips out instead of in like on the Siege/Selects Smokescreen. The bigger head also allows ER Smoke to look up while Siege/Selects cannot.

I think this positioning is better

Edit: the stems on the Siege guns are significantly longer than the ER versions, so their bases are not flush with his shoulders without filing them down. Not only are the holes in the Siege version deeper, the hood is curved, so there needs to be more clearance space.

Closer look at what I'm talking about, sorry for the focus.

It's not a big deal, but I'm a little disappointed.

I see what you're saying. You use what I think of as the pistol's clip as the post. It does make them stand up higher.

I think that's the intended position based on the animation character model and initial stock photography.

Ah, ok. That makes sense. I just assumed since the two smaller posts come together to make the 5mm so it fits in his hands that those were the handles. But now that I look closer the larger posts have detailing to look like a pistol grip.

I don't even know when my Airwave is coming. I got a ship notice on the 6th, but checking it, it still only says the shipping label was created but not been picked up by the carrier (Fed Ex). Its coming from Kentucky and I'm in Connecticut, soooooo what's the story?
What's worse is when I emailed Gamestop about it, they don't even respond. You have to love it

Seems like you are the first person with a Gamestop shipping story. Most of us here are sitting back in frustration and confusion watching Target Scramble to fulfill pre orders from a sale on toys offered 6 months ago.

Speaking of which, did most of you who have received anything from Target get it from Fedex directy, or did they dump it off at your local USPS last minute, for them to deliver? I hate when they do that, always causes an unnecessary extra couple of days delay.

All of mine came from Fedex directly, with 2 of them leaving the same Fedex facility on the same morning, yet they were still delivered by 2 different trucks.

Same, all of mine were delivered directly by FedEx or UPS.

I got Arcee today. Am I doing something wrong, or is the transformation just really bad? It feels like the transformation is basically "shove everything somewhere under the car shell".

in so far as I can tell, they did not actually design a place for her legs or arms to lock into, so yeah, just cram her under her backpack ;)^ :HEADHURTS:

Yowza. I like the look of the Earthrise figure, but I'd rather keep the previous Generations figure if it Transforms better.

Earthrise Arcee truly is just some cheap "anime" figure basically.

I just hate G1 Arcee's base design (I don't when it's changed up to be more of a Transformer with kibble such as IDW) and just about all of her Generations toys except for the Titans Return mold which I think is the best we have gotten just with the sole point of her actually having vehicle bits on more areas then her backpack.

Remove the backpack and Arcee becomes no different than some anime robot-girl, gross me out.

I agree about the TR version, I think it and the Cyberverse deluxe are the best versions of Arcee.

At first I hated Hoist's arm panels. Then I saw that it was G1 accurate so I dealt with it. Pass that, it's a pretty damn fine figure despite being finicky to tab everything for truck mode.
