So I just got my Botropolis set, and as other have said, thus officially ends Earthrise. Don't cry because it's over, be happy because it happened... ;)^

Anyway, as this is my first an only GO set, it appears the map on the inside flap is a scaled down version of the entire ER map, or am I incorrect? That would be cool as it would satisfy that part of me that never bothered to get the whole map. On the other hand, if it is only a portion of the map, then I still feel incomplete, but not enough to track down all the other pieces to make the full map.

I think it is the whole map but has nothing pointed out except the 6 planets that were part of the Galactic Odyssey.

This page has the full map but I did not want to post since it technically is a spoiler(?)

The full map has been posted here previously, but that is the first time I've seen it with the toys attached, that is a nice little added touch. Not sure what about it is *spoilery* though...??

Eh, more erring on the side of caution since it did have the figures in their spots. It might not be a spoiler but didn't want to upset anyone. Some hate spoilers, some love them, and I kinda sit in between.

I think people thought the map would contain spoilers for the Netflix cartoon's Earthrise season, but seeing as how that season has not only come and gone but also barely even stuck to the map's paths, I'd say the spoiler belief turned out to be presumptuous in hindsight.

Scorponok's box art ended up being a bigger spoiler than the map.

Still waiting for my Botropolis set to ship even though Amazon says it'll arrive tomorrow.

I had the same status yesterday; Amazon conceded today that it hasn't shipped yet. They haven't cancelled the order but also haven't given me a new ship date.

I'm in the same boat. My Botropolis set hasn't shipped yet, according to Amazon, but it's also supposed to be delivered by 10:00 PM tonight.

I won't consider Earthrise really "over" until I finally get Netflix Soundwave as well. I wonder which will happen first? Finding Netflix Soundwave at Walmart for retail price or Amazon actually fulfilling its preorder with me? Place your bets now!

A while back I got an update that it would be delayed to ~march 10-15. I wonder if they were less than thorough about sending that out/updating everyone's orders.

Finally got an update that mine will arrive between 3/23 and 4/8. Had to approve the delay (that's rare) so check your order status if yours hasn't shipped yet.

If we get an Earthrise Accessory pack during Kingdom like the Siege pack we got during Earthrise, I really hope it has a bunch AIRlock panels. Modulators were such a great gimmick even with literally two figures. Just a bunch of different roads, maybe some props to place on bases (turbines, solar panels, spacebridges, etc).

Building bases is fun with Modulators and I wish we had just a bit more variety.

I'm gonna continue my discussion on "earthrise" barricade here. My main issue is that it's an incredibly dull deco for the car mode. With the Siege version, the iteresting use of fluo purple plastic was fun. I get why it wouldn't be present on the earth mode, but it leaves the unpainted black plastic more obvious, the back especially. Also, while both Siege and Earthrise Barricade have the wheels clip on clips of different plastic colours (front is lilac and back is black), the purple highlighted wheels of the Siege version distract from that and even make the mismatch fade away, while it's very obvious on the earth mode. In terms of the bot mode, I do preffer the leg proportions and feet on the earth mode but the overall toy feels more fragile and the transformation of the legs is less smooth.

Just some thoughts I wanted to write down as I compare both figures.

Already reported it to news, but the galactic odyssey dominus 2-pack of punch/counterpunch and er barricade is now a pulse partner exclusive, currently locked out to premium members only. Might change later, because iirc premiums get first dibs on friday drops from 12-3pm est, but I might be mistaken.

You were right on, it just opened up to non-premium.

A 3rd party Megatroun(!) makes a good weapon for ER Scorponok and holds surprisingly well.

So with the Botropolis set in hand, it was time for some city building. Here are all the Siege/ER city builders I have jammed together.

This weekend's project will be to try and fit all the TR base bots around everything and connected to Omega Supreme.

The Pool table has become the Cool Table. Also I see that your two Ironworks have different grey plastic, were they always like that or is it possible that there's some unnoticed variant?

I actually have 3, there is one hiding right next to Omega Supreme's rocket. As for the color mis-match, no no variant, just a crappy cell phone camera, CFL lighting in my basement and the different angles the different ones are at. There is no difference in person.

I'm always impressed by your pics TF-fan ;)^ . I am in the same position, unfortunately it is a matter of a lack of time and space for me at the moment. I was able to take all the Modulators and ER BM's and make a rectangle  .

But I do plan the same as you to take all TR and Airlock connecting toys (now that I finally have them all), and make a Mega-City. (Well I guess the only ones I don't have are Dead Optimus and Both Quintesson Judges, but for some reason I've been able to convince myself I don't need them...), but still. I have a covered patio outside but I'm waiting for better weather, and a day when I have nothing going. It will take a while for my son and I just to get them all Transformed, and into a docent looking city.

I know the pool table has been good for you. I know when you had all the Titans it was getting pretty full. If you can manage to cram it all on the table, that would be quite a feat, otherwise, I think you're going to need a bigger space, as I know I am.

Yes, time and space are definitely a challenge. My first attempt showed me I'm going to need more room, and possibly re-do the air-lock portion. I wanted to get Scorponok and Trypticon back to back, and the pool table just isn't wide enough. We also get some seepage issues so the floor is out.

I'm working on cleaning through a mess of old crap on the other half of my basement, basically behind where I'm standing when I photograph the pool table. Once I to, I'll be able to set up a few folding tables that should give me enough room to do what I want.

If your Botropolis set got delayed then you might want to keep an eye on Amazon, seems like they're shipping sooner than they thought they would. I was told between March 23 and April 8 before, but I just got a shipping notification saying it will arrive Monday!

I really hope they will eventually put up some important and ridiculously scarce "partner products" soon, like Walgreens Bluestreak and Netflix Soundwave. R.E.D. figures and a sole Amazon box set that is still easy to come by on Amazon.com isn't going to cut it.

I wanted to write about a new WFC toy I just got, Runabout, and by instinct I was gonna go in the Kingdom thread. But then I realized it's actually Earthrise. Man was this line's distribution a shitshow.
Anyways, wanted to write about Runabout. While it is the exact same mold as Runamuck, I don't know what it is but I like it a lot more. I got Runamuck the same day I got all other wave 3 figures and after handling Sunstreaker first, no one else compared. With Runamuck, I thought the paneling was clumsy and the fake chest was a bummer (you already have fake wheels, I don,t need more cheats), the backpack didn't stay on right. I havent handled it since.
And now with Runabout, I finally opened him yesterday and I really like this toy. The car mode is cool in a retro future kind of way that I can really get behind and all the deco really pops (like white rims, and wicked cool red windows), plus you have nicely painted tailights. The panel lining was not annoying in the least, he felt like a pleasure to transform and everything was snug with enough clearance for a nice roll. I don't remember experiencing any of that with Runamuck.

I love this toy, that is all.

Really Runabout should've just been put in the Kingdom Deluxe line-up, maybe taking Arcee's place in wave 2. The Runabois didn't necessarily need to be in the same toyline together, and going by the leaks there'll be no Decepticons in Kingdom's Deluxe range, so moving Runabout to Kingdom would've been fine.
