Well I finally just bit the bullet on the Paradrone Medic set for Ratchet on Amazon because I had enough points to reduce the price to $50 making it $25 for each bot. While they may do a more accurate G1 version later on I didn't want to take the chance it might happen much later than I have time for, and once Perceptor and Blaster are released I'll have an almost complete collection of the G1 bots I want. just would be waiting on a good Blitzwing, and maybe a better looking Astrotrain.

We're supposedly getting Blitzwing in SS86. Astrotrain, maybe in the Legacy line. But he was just released in WFC so it's probably a longshot.

The Blitzwing listing we have is for Legacy, actually, not SS86.

Really? That's kind of a bummer, if it had been in SS86 it probably would have looked better. But who knows, the Legacy line might actually be a step up, but I don't see how, if they will redo characters from the 1st 2 seasons of G1. Again. WFC did a really good job with them. Except Astrotrain. And Shockwave. >:oP

How is Shockwave bad? He's as good as can be.

No, no he isn't. But it's really a matter of opinion. I like his robot mode but the alt mode with the extra bits is crap. I would rather have an actual leader class figure that still turns into a cannon. Considering that the leaders these days aren't much bigger than the voyagers, he could have worked as a leader, and been only slightly larger than Megatron. He could have been like Galvatron, if Shockwave had bulkier arms, legs and chest. But like I said, it's just my personal view, because Shockwave being my favorite Con, I will always scrutinize his figures a bit harder than any others.

I think it was said that some figures from SS86 were moved to other lines due to space so I think that's what happened with Blitzwing. I have Cyclonus standing with my 86 figs and it looks good, soon to be joined by Commander Rodimus and Leader Galvatron.

I personally don't get this whole "space" issue, considering SS will still continue why can it not be SS86 for the characters that make sense. Granted Blitzwing isn't really needed in SS86 because his appearance in the movie was nil. However, I simply prefer the packaging style versus the others. From a MIB preference I'd like all the movie bots in similar themed packaging because Hotrod, Jazz and Cup all look absolutely amazing MISB!

As an opener it doesn't matter what they're packaged in but I do have a few favorites I like to keep sealed.

I just don't get why there isn't room in a line when packaging changes seem pretty darn simple.

Because SS86 isn't its own line. Its packaged as part of Studio Series proper. Remember that the only reason we even have ss86 is because they had to make space in WfC to add the beasts.

I made the preorder on BBTS when he came back in stock in January (as I'm sure many others did as well), but I have waiting to own this figure since he was revealed back at Toyfair 2020. He was worth the wait! Solid, unlike Metroplex and Fort Max he doesn't squeak when you pick him up, and I'm not normally bothered about ankle tilts, but it really makes a difference for a figure this size. He can hold poses great, and has a magnificent presence to him.

I also got the DNA add-on kit for him. I usually don't go for 3P, but that giant rifle was too much to resist, it's hilariously large and makes him truly overkill.

So I tried attaching the upper leg and putting screws on the "inside" as oppose from outside. When I turn the leg left and right the split bringing the 2 pieces together slightly opens when it ratchets...annoying! Did everyone put screws inside the leg or outside? My thanks in advance! :VEHI:

I installed the whole shebang on my Black Zarak. I followed the instructions to a T and I have absolutely zero problems nor issues.

So, you should just do the same.

In case the instructions manual is unclear, EMGO to the rescue!

@ Kanrabat....Awww c'mon dude Emgo seriously? :-P

Interestingly I watched Youtube reviewers then looked directly at instructions so I'm not sure where I went wrong. Did you have the screws go into the leg from in between or facing the outside? :VEHI:

You don't like Emgo?
Why?
Scratch that, I don't care.

And to answer your question, I just followed the instructions. Pay attention to the video above.

Okay so after looking at instructions again I have the upper leg set up correct with the screws entering from in between the legs and not out, but I was sure I saw someone on Youtube doing the opposite. I'm using the provided gaskets so I will have to fiddle with it some more! :BANG_HEAD: :VEHI:

I love it a lot, it's really fun, especially with the matching color schemes between everyone.

I only ever got Barricade, but I have to say this is far better than he is. Galaxy Shuttle is going to have some great partners

I especially like the nod to the Japanese name Overair ( In Japan all 4 Micromaster stations were Autobots instead of 2 bots and 2 cons)

Having 6 modulators all together (3 of each mold) that are all still pretty unique looking makes for some awesome creative play connections.

It now sort of makes me regret passing on Hothouse, the extra red to the base paint with no retooling did nothing for me

So, I finally got my hands on Grapple and Smokescreen recently, been enjoying them.

Some side-by-sides with SIEGE Prowl. I think they look good together. Now I just need Bluestreak to have the three from the show. Sadly I lost out on an auction for SIEGE Bluestreak yesterday, it got swarmed literally during the last minute.

Were these two that scarce in your area? While I don't ever see them in physical stores anymore just about every website that sells them has had stock for some time, and Grapple even had sales up to half off a few times at various places. I will say of the two Smokescreen was the quicker moving one.

Grapple was two per case to one Starscream, and Wave 1 was vastly over-ordered. Smokescreen had to be gotten at Aldis of all places and was a normal case pack, just pointing out some context.

Not sure if they were scarce in my area or not. I didn't exactly get a lot of TF shopping trips in during Earthrise, because my TF purchase capacity took a biiiig hit in 2020 and 2021 due to the Renaissance Faire that is my main source of leisure cash not running those years, and I had another financial concern that made me uncomfortable with splurging from my other funds. 2020 had the additional problem of crap piled in the driveway blocking me from sorting the recycling (my other leisure $ source) for several months, and the runs I did get in went to paying for Apeface, Snapdragon, and Christmas gifts.
I wish in hindsight though that I had splurged on Sunstreaker when I was seeing him on eBay for reasonable prices... :BANG_HEAD:
