I'm driving from Boston to Indiana for some family crap next month. As it is a 13 hour drive, I figure I'll need to take a few breaks along the way. Got any recomendations for hobby stores to check out along the way?

I also need a resteraunt and a bakery recommendation in the Cleveland area.

Basically the trip takes me through western mass, upstate NY, PA, Ohio and into the tri-state area.

Thanks!

P.S. How nasty does this drive look? uGH.

Start out going WEST on PINE ST toward GARDNER ST. 0.2 miles Map

Well you'll be heading through a healthy vein of shopping/metro areas.

1.) I-90 (Northwest PA, Erie.)
Target
Toys R' Us
Wal-Mart (x4, yes...four.)
K-B
K-Mart

2.) I-90 (Northeast Ohio, Ashtabula.)
Wal-Mart
K-Mart (both stores are supercenters. I've found some vhtf items in this town.)

3.) I-90 (Midwest Ohio, Avon, Lorain, Elyria.)
Avon:
Target
Wal-Mart

Lorain:
Super K-Mart (pretty good stock, honestly.)

Elyria:
Target (This one is fantastic. Gets their items rather early in shipments, and tend to have the new stuff frequently and in volume.)
Wal-Mart
Toys R' Us (This is one of the absolute best TRUs I've ever been to. Most times they've got a popular figure that you're looking for. Or some of the rarer older ones.)

Those are all I can tell you, as they're all I know for the region. There's a slew of TRUs and Targets in and around the Cleveland area, but they're mainly in the suburban towns (Like Mayfield Village) and they're close to Cleveland, landwise...but travelwise....it's not worth it to stop in Cleveland.

That's the great thing about Ashtabula, Avon, Elyria, Erie, and Lorain...all of them sit right on 90, and the stores (give or take) are about 5-6 miles from the interstate, so you're not that far off of your predicted path.

I'd give 'em a shot, you might be pleasantly surprised!

Nice, thanks for the great info. Any little anime stores that stock TFs in that area?
