Went in this morning and found the new FABs on the pegs!!!
They had 08 camaro BB, Blackout, Frenzy, Megatron and the rest of the line from the first wave.
I was surprised at how detailed the Megatron was...looks like a voyager Meg without the blue ice...almost picked it up...but I already have the Leader Meg. My 6yr wouldn't leave the store without Frenzy so we got him...I was surprised when we opened it...its actually a pretty cool figure! Transforms nicely into a cd player and shoots its deadly disc, which is quite high powered.

Frenzy looks SO nice in Alt mode. Robot mode, not so much!

Yeah I just told my son I liked Frenzy in the cd player mode. Just wished it was painted silver like a real cd player. It showed in the back of the package the silver color that never made it to the real toy. My son wants me to paint it silver....
On the LCD section of the cd player it says FRENZY 97.7.
The Antenna has limited articulation it swivels aroun 360 degrees and can be lifted at around 45 degree angle(won't point straight up).
In robot mode, its head is totally fixed to the back part so to turn the head you have to turn the entire contraption and it turns with clicks.
I think for a FAB its a really cool one!

This was the only FAB that I have purchased. I love this figure. I was pleasantly surprised. Just wish I could find the newer deluxes.

Yeah, it's still a nice toy, I'll pick it up when I see it. Just wish they could have figured out a way to have the section of speaker around his head fold backwards. That's really his main problem, his head is encased in a block of plastic.

I picked this myself right after posting last in this thread. I have to admit Frenzy (especially) for a FAB is pretty well designed. The way 3/4 of the radio splits into 4's and flips over and around to create his body is pretty impressive.

If ONLY they had made one more cut and gotten rid of that crap around his head. I used your pic (mines in Alt mode and Im too lazy to transform him), but I think this would have made him so much better!



They should have went the extra mile and made him a Deluxe.

How big is it compared to deluxe figures?

Yeah He Has a Speaker For a Head It dosent Even Flip down. Lazy Hasbro!

yeah I dont like that big block behind his head...Frenzy is about the same size if not bigger than 08 bumble bee...
