What if instead of 6" Titanium figs, plastic universe figures?

As everyone on here saw the awesome Titanium figures at Botcon that will go unreleased, what if they were able to make the figures in plastic form and release them under the Universe line. I personally think it would be great. I didn't care for the Titanium figures. Posing problems, design flaws due to the metal. I would love to buy a WWI Prime and Megs but only if they were plastic. What about the awesome Shockwave, arcee, and cosmos. What do you guys think?

Well the metal in the titaniums made the figure too heavy in some areas and the plastic that was used seemed cheaper and softer than usual so joints tended to suffer and couldn't hold the weight of the metal.

If they do use the designs I hope they are remolded to give better joints and articulation. Would be cool to see the WWI figures or the Hearts of Steel ones come into the Universe line to go outside of the G1 groups.

The ideas been discussed in a few threads around the toys forum and seems generally to be quite popular. Shockwave especially I'd love to see done. Hasbro apparently stated at Botcon that these designs MAY be used IN SOME FORM at some point. Not a definative answer but it keeps the hope alive.

Hopefully some of those designs will appear in Classics 2.0.
Hasbro have said they hope to make toys from other series into the new Universe line, so maybe we could see the WWI BB?
And that Shockwave is a must, more so than the Cosmos and Arcee.

I assume that they will be using some of those figures in the upcoming Universe line. I guess that we'll see Shockwave and Cosmos first. At least that's what I'm hoping. The titanium line is close to scale with Classics, so I hope that Cosmos can get out fast. As for Shockwave, I'd like for him to be a Voyager size bot.

I honestly wish that they'd continue the Titanium line, if only because they look cool in those boxes. Gotta love that packaging; well, at least I do.

I wish they could get the guy that designed Mirage from Classics to do Arcee, that way we get a figure that has the same level of posability. What was his name Alex?

Mirage's designer is Alex Kubalsky.

At this point, I just wish they would make QUALITY TF's. Hasbro MIGHT make what would have been Titaniums into Universe characters, but I don't think no one but Hasbro really knows for sure.

My whole Titanium collection is MISB, because I knew about the problems before I bought them, but I still bought them because they make great display pieces. I agree with kkl1014, I love the boxes, they show off the bot mode really well.

But even though I have every Titanium I wanted (only "missing" 5: GI Joe Megatron, Optimal Optimus, Cheetor, "Diaperwave", and Menasor..."missing" cause I didn't want them), I would buy them all again if they were released in good-quality plastic, so I could actually open up the plastic versions and play with them. I would SO love it if figures like G1 Ultra Magnus and Rodimus Prime were released as Ultra-sized figures. Their ability to transform without removing/adding pieces really makes them the best versions of these characters ever released yet.

Anyway, Universe is already gonna rock, but it would only get better with plastic versions of Titanium figures.
