Anyone had any luck with KMart?

I know, I know. I wasn't aware the place still existed either until my search for the movie figures kicked in. But apparently we still have a KMart here in town. I stopped by shortly after the wave 1 release and didn't see much of anything. The place was just as ghetto as I remember it being.
Has anyone found anything at all? Anyone looked? Do they even stock the movie line?

Mine are kinda slow to re-stock, but I have found everything there. They are priced a little higher than Target and Walmart, but I can leave stuff there and pick it up later, since they never seem to sell much.

I haven't been to the one KMart in the area in forever but I wasn't much impressed with their toy section when I was there. If I'm in the area maybe I'll check it out.

Kmart does suck, almost as bad a Meijer.
But yesterday, I did pick up a Robot Replicas Barricade there, and 2 of the 3 new GI Joe Commandos, Black Ops and Marine.

I thought I had conveyed the fact that I'm fully aware that KMart sucks in my original post. :p
I was just curious if they've been stocking movie figures in anyone's area, regardless of their suckiness.

Well K-mart sucks they are usually 10% higher priced than the normal price of the item.
However no one buys from there so you can sometimes find things that went out of stores long ago. Sometimes they will surprise you with what they can get in and they are the only place in town that I can find the legends class of figures.
But yeah they are a last place to search for me.

I always say going to Kmart is an adventure. You are correct about them being -at least- 10% higher. Currently they have a sale going on that all Transformers are 10% off though

Yes, Kmart is quite ghetto these days. It's a shame too, cuz about 8 or 9 years ago I used to buy most of my toys there. Had a pretty kick ass toy section back in the day. As good as a toy section in a department store can be at least.

yeah i stocked up on some robot heroes, with the 10% thing, haven't really found much, but they do carry a lot of stuff at times
my homie collects GI Joes and he always finds what he's looking for at Kmart

I've been checking four WalMarts, two Targets, and the only TRU in town on a rotation for the past two weeks and have yet to find an 08 BB anywhere. The closest I've found is a movie Arcee at one of the WalMarts. Meh.
All I'm seeing from restocks now are the FABs, at all the local stores.

My K-Mart released the Real Gears before the official date for movie toys, when Wal-Mart was sticking to the deadline. K-Mart's lack of traffic also kept around some rare stuff that I was able to wait and pick up later. On the other hand, they had to clearance out a Dark Scorponok and these days keep a strangely small number of movie toys available (the sale really put a dent in that).
Right now, they have all the Robot Replicas, which aren't at Wal-Mart yet, a Leader or two, a Starscream protoform (they didn't come out until after the actual Deluxes were sold out), second-wave Robot Masters and a bunch of Cyber Slammers. Maybe they'll get in the new BB with the next restock, who knows?

i dunno, K-mart sometimes comes thru for me. I know ive picked up a lot of hard to find Star Wars figs there cuz no one else thinks to check there. As stated above, theyve got the Robot Replicas before everyone else. And i also picked up a pretty sweet TF tshirt the other day: all yellow with the autobot logo and Bumblebee busting outta it. they also had a black shirt with the decepticon logo and Blackouts face over it.

The K-Mart in Pekin, IL had approximately one Megatron Robot Replica and...uhm...that was it. I've had much better luck between Wal-Mart and Toys"R"Us.
edit: had to fix what they actually had, mis-identified.
