Did any other Non TFCC members receive Breakaway?

I'm a little confused since I'm not a TFCC member but I still got the figure in the mail today. Granted I did attend Botcon 2006, but I opted not to sign up for the membership.

Is this just something that came with the crap load of money I spent last year or is it a fluke? Or is it just bait to try and get me to go back and hunt down the previous "exclusive" figures?

How much did you pay to go?

(You may already be a member!)

Hmm... I thought I only paid for the cheaper Primus set-up. There were two options for that right? Let's see... looks to be the 299 deal. Huh, maybe this did include a years worth of Membership.

And it seems I spelled received wrong. To the edit page.

If you did unwittingly get the years membership you should have started getting the club mags and master collector falling through your door as well. And unless you put your Primus package through before the annual cut off date in March the first membership figure that you would be due would be next year's rather than this. Were you expecting anything else from FunPub at all? A3 set bought after they ran out of stock that was actually in Rhode Island or anything like that? Just wondering if the wrong shipping labels could have gone onto some packages, it's certainly their busiest time of the year as far as mail outs go.

Odd,

it was $280 for members, $320 for non-members, but that includes an automatic membership.

Were you ever a member? I know that I missed out to re-join the club by a week, so I fell out of membership for a week. I will not get the combiner figure for this year free, so I bought him at Botcon, but I will get next year's combiner limb for free as part of my membership. Hope that kinda helps.

No... never was a member before or after the convention. None of the perks really were for me. Who knows... He's a cool enough figure, but not worth the 20 dollar asking value.

Ah well. If this is a fluke I'm sure it'll all come back around to bite me later on down the line.
