In a line of Siege molds?

Who says it'll remain Siege molds?

Yep. I'd say it's incongruous with the rest of the line, but I think including "Cheetor" in any form really crossed the line of incongruity.

Arcee has an ambiguous alternate mode as is - retool the shield/hoverboard and it could look more Cybertronian. She's also got the curvy legs and slim waist of Cheetor, as well as the distinctive pieces of kibble thrust up behind each shoulder.

The Sideswipe mold is too blocky for Cheetor. The Prowl mold would give him clown shoes, and put his 'wings' in the wrong place.

We know there are only 5 more deluxes coming in the Nexflix Siege line, right? Since there are more than 5 deluxes in that listing, could it be that a few of these are for an Earthrise part of the Netflix line, with Cheetor is a redeco (pre-deco?) of a yet-to-be-revealed Earthrise mold?

There are 8 9 more revealed Netflix WFC Deluxes so far (seemingly split into two assortments of four each based on the EANs seems like it's assortments of 5 still based on the Hasbro product numbers) and the assortments seem to mix Siege and Earthrise molds based on the names, so I don't think the show is restricting itself to one or the other or segmenting itself. The packaging only says "War For Cybertron", not Siege or Earthrise, afterall.

I'm all for Cheetor. If he gets any kind of car mode, my money's on Siege Mirage. Cheetor has always fit the "drag racer" theme, and I think Mirage nails that look.

Huh, interesting that the Netflix figures are officially considered reissues. I mean, they kinda basically are anyways, just interesting to know that's officially acknowledged in some capacity.

Okay, so are we sure these are Netflix now? These are all showing $19.99 for the price. Wasn't the netflix price $19.87?

I'm more puzzled by the Quintesson being included with them, while the Judge is a Voyager. So, it can only be the Alicon.

May I put forward a motion to have the Netflix figures discussion be split off from this thread?

Seconded? I think it is inevitable at some point.

Assuming this is true, it would be such a shame if this Cheetor turned out to be just a lazy repaint of something from Seige or Earthrise (even though it most likely is), and not an original mould with a cheetah beast mode. As others have said, Apeface has his gorilla mode in Seige, and Cyberverse Cheetor wasn't exactly an organic cheetah, so I'm still holding out hope for a Cheetor with a cheetah form. It wouldn't even be the first time the current Hasbro team has given us an original mould as an exclusive (PotPie Punch/Counterpunch).

I think whether or not this Cheetor turns out to have a beast mode or a car mode depends entirely on if it's a redeco of a Cheetor figure from Earthrise (or perhaps another line) that hasn't been revealed yet, or if it's just in this Netflix line, cuz if it's the latter, since they don't do more than redecos and MAYBE retools, it'd have to use an existing mold.

Ask and ye shall receive. But I messed it up, I wanted to split off the last 3 pages, starting with Sabrblade posting the link to Cheetor. :-?

Me to, I saw a really cool custom painted black Impactor. I am really hoping for something like that.

Wanted to say pass on the duplicates.... but they did put some effort into the repaints. I like the recolors of some is the weapons too. Had they packed in blast effects.... I think that’s sell me.

Trying not to double/triple dip on figs. Going to be bad enough if we’re getting sideswipe variants in the various Diaclone colors.

Bad enough that with new seekers and Datsuns.... I feel like hasbro is trying to burn out collectors.

I think I'm gonna put a Toyhax Autobot logo on Scrapface. Bright primary colors are by no means exclusive to Autobots for me, but his colors just feel way too Autobot.

Well if you have the spare cash, get them. If you sour on them later, you can always sell them and recoup some of your costs. And I think Hasbro is only interested in burning out our wallets.

I got them all, but haven't opened any of them - including Scrapface. I have considered returning them, but I can maybe give some of them to my son.

I found Megatron today. He's everything I thought he would be - and upon comparing him to the original, I actually gained more appreciation for the first in the line. I really don't get all the hate for that figure - mine has none of the flaws I've read about, either. He's going to my son as soon as a gift arrives for one of my daughters - hopefully tomorrow.

Yeah, I don't get why the Netflix version is so highly thought of either. I have the Siege and the anniversary version, and I like them well enough, but the Netflix one is not different enough to warrant a 3rd purchase of the mold. My main gripe is that I think his paint job is crap. I would want the accurate Pinpointer from the box and that's it.

Fortunately Hasbro is helping you resist by making him 1 per case. As soon as I realized that, I gave up on a trio. (Also already having 3 regulars and the exclusive 3 pack helps resist too).
