Look pretty nice next to his brother.

This mold may already show it's age because the wing tips just son't stay tabbed completely under the nosecone. Regardless, the spaceshit still look amazing.

Glad to have him!

Do you agree with my assessment that he feels cheaper than the previous ones?

Not at all. He feel perfect in hand. Tight everywhere. Even the chest piece stay in place. It's just the tip of the wing can't perfectly tab at the nosecone of the ship for some reasons.

If you want to feel "cheap", play around with FOC Bruticus. Man, the quality of the deluxes took a nosedive at the time before they finally decided to make the price jump at TLK.

Finally got the Sparkless duo myself. And I'm glad I did because the bot's deco is fantastic and the Seeker ... is a Seeker. I feel like they could have done better, a lot more was done to sell the rust on Bot. Still, I'm very pleased to have them both on the team.

Is that it for Sparkless drones? I wouldn't mind to have a third to finish things off.

The Netflix Deseeus army drone could count as "Sparkless Ironhide".

That's what he is for me anyway.
Plus he's an excellent rival to Siege Crosshair.

So the Walmarts around me have restocked the wave 3 deluxes 3 or 4 times. But they only got wave 2 in 1 time & that was it. What's up with that? Bumblebee & Soundwave were hard to find but wave 3 gets restocked over & over again. How does it work that way? It makes no sense to me. Doesn't Hasbro make the same amount of all the figures?
Why wasn't wave 2 restocked multiple times?

And why are they holding back the Sparkless Seeker? Why didn't they release the wave 3 voyagers at the same time as the deluxes? :( Does Walmart have them in their warehouses & just holding them back until August? Or did Hasbro not ship them yet? The deluxe & voyagers for waves 1 & 2 showed up in stores pretty close together. Why is wave 3 different?

Because Wave 2 was last year's wave and the pandemic messed up its distribution. Wave 3 is this year's wave and its time has come in the here and now.

That's how the Netflix line works. Each wave is a yearly thing.
  • 2019: Wave 1
  • 2020: Wave 2
  • 2021: Wave 3

I know, wave 2 was last year & it showed up last year. But how did the pandemic mess it up? Did Walmart get less product somehow? Even with the pandemic, shouldn't they have gotten the same amount?

Wave 2 was arguably the *best* in that is had 2 unique Deluxes that were highly sought after, one Extremely popular Voyager, and By far the Best Leader Spoiler Box ( but it wasn't even available at retail so that is irrelevant). Deluxe wave 2 was restocked a couple times in my area, it is really just random. I never saw Soundwave ever. Thankfully I wasn't looking for one.

Wave 3 is pretty lackluster. I don't think they will shelfwarm, but I've had no problem seeing them. I have no explanation for the voyagers. They are out everywhere except the US it seems. August is just a couple months away though

Patience pays off. Wheeljack still needs to have his correct torso shape but for £7 I paid I can file down his windshield and risk the cracking it, it will only add to his looks anyways.

What helps wave 3 is that it's basically the army builder wave. Two sparkless, a drone, and Deep Cover easily passes for a generic Autobot troop since it doesn't look like any existing figure. And then the Beast guys are just selling well regardless. I've seen the Deluxes restock a bunch of times and they never last long.

After watching a video on YouTube showcasing the entire Netflix product range, I'm semi-tempted to get an Impactor because the video made it look pretty good. For those who have the Impactor mould, is it worth getting?

I'd say it is definitely worth getting if you don't already have one of the previous 2 releases. Its a fun mold, with a little bit of a twist for forming the turret that is different from previous tank molds.

Impactor is a great mold, but do your homework on which version you want, there are two different head sculpts and three different decos. The Amazon 3-Pack version has a Decepticon badge and a head based upon the IDW comics. The other two have the Autobot badge and a head based on the G1 Marvel Comics. They differ in the color hues used and the painted on “battle damage.”

I have zero attachment to this character, but I have the Subscription Service Impactor (Retool of CW Rook), because it's part of a combiner, so I have to have it ;) , and I have the Siege one from the Amazon 3-pack, because I like Weaponizers. But I would say neither is a bad toy. Both are very fun.

Impactor is a great figure. Very solid, pretty big on the deluxe scale too. He is well worth it. I have 2 of them myself

I opened up my Sparkless Seeker set yesterday, and I'm actually really happy with it. The deco's primary color is a drab olive, and the brown is just a highlight tone. It's closer to camo than ... well, poop. The painted canopies distinguish it from the other members of the mold, but overall I think it could be repurposed as a regular seeker, just as I plan to do with SG Starscream.

FWIW, the nosecone assembly and wings aren't completely flush on my copy, though it doesn't bother me.

Looks like mold degradation is starting to set in.
My copy have that problem too.

Whatch out for SG Screamers.

Just curious if you could share where approximately you live? I assume not in the United States because it is out everywhere but there, but if you are in the U.S., how did you obtain it?
