Nope. I know of another guy on another board who was hoping the Centurion Drone would be Slammer, so you're not alone there. ;)

With a new, but very G1-ey 'generic robot man head' it would have made a great Slammer.

In general, Selects have been online exclusive but not necessarily exclusive to a particular retailer.

The drone set might not actually be Selects, and might be something similar to the Reflector 3 pack from last year that that was part of Siege but without a WFC number. I believe that was also a Hasbro Pulse only exclusive (at least in the US).

Selects is not mentioned anywhere on the drone Listing like it is for Tigertracks and Rotorstorm.

That is certainly possible, but the Reflector 3 pack was offered by other online retailers, as is the Drone apparently , just not by BBTS. (a previous poster showed a UK retailer offering it)

Exclusives are handled a bit differently over here in the UK (usually as in not available at all), Selects stuff is usually stocked by two big online reatailers that have a single BNM store (maybe other online retailers but havent checked).

The 35th anniversary walmart exclusives were divided between the two as exclusives (soundblaster/bluestreak, I think prime/megs was available at both).

Smyths is the biggest bnm retailer and have had the netflix stuff (seeing as their isnt any other competitiors like toysrus they dont really feel exclusive and arent highlighted as exclusives instore unlike toysus does -smyhts does lable some exclusives from other toy ranges like imaginenext as such tho).

Amazon UK is a big hit and miss and will keep exclusives that they only ever stocked a tiny amount of listed as coming soon forever and a day (thundercracker, greenlight etc) or seriously over stock so they can drop them to nice prices (Potp nemesis prime). even MP Baynus megs was cheaper than a studio series leader megs at one point so it is a very double edged sword.

Hasbro Pulse uses FedEx so I have no idea why they don't do international shipping. If they want to give a brick and mortar store the retail exclusive? Cool, whatever. But the way they position Pulse from a social media standpoint there is no reason international customers should be ignored.

Aw, man! Wish I ordered two Centurions as the price has now gone up ten bucks lolol. My preorder still shows the $19.99 price but the order page now shows a $29.99 pricing.

$19.99 seemed cheap to be fair compared with previous selects power dashers/weaponisers.

No way of ordering a regal cobra commander over here yet, probably a rabbit hole I shouldnt have started but it will be hard to backtrack a collection by the time GI Joe Extreme characters start to show in the classified line.

I Went back to see the Joe stuff and was interested in the updated Pimp Daddy Profit Director Destro. I was gonna add another Centurion then I was like nope I'm good after seeing the price bump. Already got one plus enough other figures coming out from Pulse in the September to November range. Even canceled Doubledealer as he's mainline ER and should get some sort of a release beyond preorders.

#-o :APPLAUSE: :BANG_HEAD:   >:oP

So many of these should have been included with their respective bots in the first place. But at least, we can have them! So... I bet it will be a something-or-other exclusive and it will cost a zillion dollars to import, right?

ahaha! Sorry, folks, this is gonna be a negative post. Feel free to skip if you're not in the mood to read that.

Called it! The instant I saw Hasbro selling the Targetmasters separately I knew that if they could find a way to charge for weapons and accessories that fans would expect to come with characters they'd do so. I mean, I work in a corporate environment so I know when things have to be smoothly presented but wow Hasbro needs to find people with genuine charisma to do this kind of stuff? Hire someone like Thew Adams for the next one! (though maybe not for Selects: Not sure he'd be able to be positive about Repaint-a-palooza!

Tiger-Track doesn't appeal to me. Diaclone exists...meh. Nor Corpse Prime (though I am a touch intrigued by the hint of a link to the Netflix series, though if I blink will i miss it?). And a Rotorstorm where they've not even bothered to mold that iconic LSOTW head? I know things are tight economically, guys, but for me if you can't do it right I'd prefer you just don't bother.

Preorders Up for Centurion Pack, Amazon's Dead Prime, RED Series and Cheaply Priced G1 Blaster

We now have product info including available preorder links, prices and official product images for the remaining toys revealed during today's Fan First Friday event. The Generations Selects toys Tigertrack and Rotorstorm can be purchased at any of your favourite US collectables website but the ones below are all retailer exclusive. The biggest surprise seems to be G1 Blaster where Hasbro went for the least expensive price point for a toy that size: $30. Of course he comes with no casettes, which is like his original release and explains the cheaper price point (he was $20 back in the 80s when first released, making him cheaper than that price adjusted for inflation). The Centurion Drone and Weapons pack is cheaply priced too at only $29.99.

I wouldn't call this negative at all. Highly critical, maybe? But you list your issues well. And I also agree wholeheartedly about the video. I know this whole Zoom meeting and not in person is sorta new but they kept waiting for audience responses that were not coming. Definitely feel bad for my fellow fans in the UK but isn't your pound currently stronger than the dollar?

where as I agree with some of the points of the weapon pack, we finally got megatron in gun mode, so £30 and a bonus siege/battlestar galactica figure with it aint all bad :P yes roller and the other bits really should have been included with their repsective figures.

Lenny seemed a broad fan and geek, jokes in those things are always going to be forced. I'm all for exclusitivity but Thew Adamas wouldnt be any recomendation to host one (partly because hes a dead ringer for somebody I know that ive seen pics of in a onesy)

Tigertracks seems the best use of the mold yet (and I reallly dont like the mold), rotor storm needed to be rotor storm and not a repaint but fortunately at least he has a g2 toy to track down.

Selects deluxes £20ish at kapow at least for rotorstorm so only £3 more for an exclusive (if getting free p&P by spending £100 plus) isnt that bad, and I'm tight.

How strange that they refer to Rotorstorm having a new head sculpt but it's just unpainted Spinister, not even his pink visor. Any chance these aren't final images somehow and we're getting the proper head?

Tigertracks £25 at kapow, import stock so may eventually be cheaper if they or ID can get it direct from hasbro. For that price I'd just go for the KO MP but each to their own.

True, but at least they are their own line. History would look back much differently on Action Masters had they just been a new line of non-transforming action figures, instead of the next step of the main line/fiction , and thus the death of the original series. ;)

Can you imagine what would happen if Hasbro announced the 3rd part of the WFC Trilogy was just a bunch of non-transforming action figures.

Very true. Though I find it rather interesting that they are going to try to sell these while Cheetor and Bumblebee will have fully-transforming Netflix deluxes at the same price point on the shelves at possibly the same time (assuming those Netflix listings were true).

I really hope so. I didn't expect significant retooling from this but definitely hoped for a new head. It looks like Rotorstorm's headless body took Pyro's head off his corpse.

Like the total dweeb consoomer I am I ended up getting Tigertrack and Rotorstorm because 'obscure nobodies repaint' are my jam. And before all the IDW people jump at me, Rotorstorm absolutely was in that category and arguably still is a nobody compared to other characters!

I think I've found a glitch... Centurion was originally listed for the standard $19.99 Selects Deluxe price point. That's what I ordered him at. He's now listed for $29.99 on Pulse. Do you think Hasbro mistakenly listed him at $19.99, realized the mistake, then jacked the price up to what it was supposed to be?
