As for Kingdom, my trip to Wal-Mart was fruitful today:

Interesting. I notice that the trailers for both the Siege and Kingdom versions of Ultra Magnus line up exactly the same way with the white cab portion. Early reviews of the Kingdom version were upset because the trailer sat further back on the truck bed, leaving the hands exposed on the back of the cab. Were they attaching it to the wrong place all along? If the trailer sits in the same spot, I don't think there is anything that can be said is inferior to the Siege version at this point, except for the missing pair of black guns.

While it can sit flush, I don't believe that is the correct configuration for Kingdom. It sits further back normally, because the side panels where altered and the peg holes on the panel are in a different place than Siege. As such, having it like Rodimus has it, should mean the side panels aren't pegged in to the cab correctly. not sure if that affects the space for the shoulder pylons. Though if they are shorter, there may just be enough space for them still.

I'm guessing Galvatron's gun looks like his ship so that those who have Unicron can make it part of the whole movie display, like the tiny Optimus that came with Centurion. Which, funnily, no reviewer has shown alongside Unicron yet, and one even thought that maybe there were going to be more tiny figurines in the scale of the two that came with Unicron when he saw the stand for them had space for an extra figurine, so he clearly didn't make the conection between tiny Optimus and that stand, somehow.

Yeah I attached the trailer like the Siege version. And the sides aren't flush, because of the clips on the bottom on the small bot's legs. If you don't mind getting rid of them, the trailer sides will line up. I actually did it by mistake, as I was doing the Siege transformation steps from memory and not looking at the Kingdom instructions.

I'll be keeping both of them, and I will switch the trailers, so I can have the Earth mode truck and the Kingdom robot mode. The wheels won't match, but that's a small detail.

I'm glad I got this Magnus, the White parts are very crisp, the cab looks really good. The only ones left to get are Inferno and the remaining Predacons.

I did not realize how impressed I would be by the crispness of the White Optimus in bot and alt-mode.

Galvatron looks great in robot mode. Looking forward to the laser ca on mode pics. One small criticism I have, and it is a superficial one, is the lack of the goatee painted on his chin. Otherwise it is looking like a solid figure.

I thought his shoulders are fine, but his chest is so big and bulky, it makes them look small. Galvatron's chest wasn't that big. The TR voyager had it right. If it wasn't for the headmaster gimmick and that stupid face guard, that toy would have been almost perfect.

Probably cuz hasbro's doing a second production run of the seacons, the pre-orders were up on pulse a while ago

Second run was a while ago (and done by Takara Tomy, Hasbro just distributes), anything that's been showing up on Pulse since has been leftover stock from their warehouse. Takara Tomy also recently put a bunch of stuff on Takara Tomy Mall as a warehouse sale.

It's only Turtler and Gulf that are up for pre-order, the rest are either sold out or in stock. It would be strange if Hasbro got Takara Tomy to make more when they themselves appear to be done with the molds. I still think it's just leftover stock they're getting in. It's taking a long time to ship from Japan so they were able to take pre-orders rather than just toss it on the store ready to go.

I’d also agree that the chest is a bit big, & the shoulders a tiny bit low...
I’m telling myself that this still looks good. And it does...
But interesting that relatively speaking I think both Cyclonus & Scourge are a little better.
While this doesn’t have the initial wow factor I was expecting, this guy is definitely being added to my collection!

It's probably so they can get fans to buy a second, clean version later.

We knew someone had the toy so it was a matter of time before we got better images. And now we do. The photos below were posted on the Vector Sigma Facebook page. We see Galvatron in robot mode along with a close up showing that he will have battle damage deco. The robot mode is not transformed properly since the small shoulder pylons are not oriented correctly. We see that they can be positioned properly in a black and white phot that was also posted. Another black and white photo shows a photo of the cannon mode.

Galvatron comes with guns shaped like his Revenge ship. These are said to be in scale with Haslab Unicron, and are also said to combine into a bigger gun. We have an image comparing this Galvatron to the show model so let us know what you think. Galvatron should be out in midsummer, though as is typical with summer waves, he may be more plentiful closer to the back to school reset many stores have.

I’m definitely a fan. The Generations Galvatron of my dreams, and comes with a pair of miniature Revengees. But Titans Return Galvy wasn’t exactly a high bar to beat so as long as he doesn’t have a lame/hindering Headmaster gimmick, he’s the right size and the cannon can be placed on the side of the arm, I’m 100% sold.

*chucks Titans Return Galvatron out the nearest window and into the dumpster* KOBE!

I might get the rumored toy colors version, but Galvatron looks pretty good. I especially like the Nemesis guns

I kind of feel like the scuffing and lack of painted goatee might point to a possible MP Galvatron soon. The combination of us getting our Mini-MPs as well as the major price hike the actual masterpieces have been getting lately have been pushing people to be transitioning to main line instead of MP (based on what I’ve read in the forums at least). I’m sure that the Hasboys know this to some extent and are trying to make sure that people still have reason to get the Masterpiece (if one is indeed in the works.)

If either company was trying to push for MPs, it'd be Takara because they're solely responsible for them, from design to release. Hasbro has just started to distribute them as well
