I tend to use feminine pronouns for any new character to help round out my collection, I did it with AoE Slash and Scorn (fingers crossed for CHUG Scorn!!) and the Fossilizers. Wingfinger also has a female alt-mode (then again, so does Inferno, Waspinator, Tigatron, etc)

I like to think of the Fossilizers as the creations of Vertebreak. She's just making a collection of evil sisters.

Wingfinger and Dracodon were definitely called "he"/"his" in the Hasbro Pulse FanFest presentation.

Makes me think of the night sisters on Dathomir (star wars)
Pretty cool

Bald

Could be a vestigial thing from early on when the crest was supposed to split and go on the shoulders and the rest of the skull made a "hand".

Then gave Alicon a try as Drax but Lugnut is still my favorite
Tried Arcee and Blackarachnia as Gamora and on that im conflicted
If Packrat and BW Grimlock end up getting released they'll replace my Rocket and Groot

I love this idea so much, that's a great way to theme a display.

As for gender in tfs, I say, each to their own, even if it goes against what HasTak say officially (unless it's completely obvious like Arcee/Strongarm/Windblade etc)

If someone wants wingfinger as a girl because of the alt mode, have at it.

As for gender, Smashdown I guess was confirmed as female in a trading card game, none of the fossilizers have though, so I use the masculine default until there is an official source stating otherwise.

Apparently it was a member of the TCG staff accidentally referring to Smashdown as female which is what started the confusion. It was the Earth Wars bio (posted by Sabr above) and later Hasbro's own staff that set his gender.

Vertebreak sets the precedence for female Fossilizers, no reason why any of the combining ones can't be. I suspect Paradon Medic Dracodon will be female as well.

So once again we have to fix Hasbro's quality control for them.

Uh, context? I see a 6 so I'm guessing the other five explain what was fixed?

Sorry, I had to go and edit that post. It's much more non-nonsensical now!

The inner shoulder joints are flipped 180. I don't know how that affects articulation when it comes to the joint "stopping" however.

What do you think is the chance that Hasbro will fix the arm issue before this figure sees mass release? I think this was something that should've been asked and pressed on during the conference call the other day.

Maybe the actual issue wasn't known at that time? I certainly hope they fix it, because I don't really want to go through all that.

I may have missed this, but what impact does this error have on the figure? Is the arm articulation reversed?

Basically as intended the shoulders are slightly higher, but as constructed they're slightly lower and look like they're drooping down.

EDIT: Crap, I was delayed in sending this and I got beat to the punch.

EDIT 2: Crap, wait, that was me. Why did I still have the "Write post" page open with that message if I'd already sent it?

Hopefully it'll be fixed by Hasbro for the Selects version. Even though this seems to be 1 of the easier fan fixes.

Reminds me of Cybertron Ransack's misassembled wheel on every release by Hasbro and Takara, only being corrected for the Fun Pub release of BotCon 2006 Rattrap.

Hi there,

I like the idea of a Titan Ark. But I'm gonna pass on it. The Ark does not look how I think it should. In Ark mode the big gaps where the legs are folding in are just UGLY and the G1 Cartoon Ark has 5 thrusters not 4!

Yeah that's the general consensus. It's a big fail on the designers' part.

Well this is Kingdom Ark, which may only have 4 thrusters, we'll find out once the miniseries drops. But I agree, it should have 5 to be truly G1. I mean, the comic version had 4 thrusters, but that was also metallic silver and not yellow.
