You all love Funko Pops don't you? Well, for those that do we have some fun news for you, more Transformers are coming!

A giant list of upcoming Funko pop figures reveals that some will be Transformers including Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, Jazz and Soundwave. There will also be Funko Keychains featuring Bumblebee, Megatron and Optimus Prime.

This would not be the first time we get Transformers themed Funko Pops since there have been a few released for the movie line. However, if these are G1 based, then that would be something new.

Below are examples of the previously released movie figures along with the long list of upcoming figures.

I've managed to avoid the entire craze until recently. My daughter found me the B&N Exclusive Ultraman, actually in store, and for normal retail, then I got the Classic Voltron. Would love to have Godzilla and Kong, but they are a little pricey, and there are so many fakes on eBay right now. I may get a Prime if its based on the original series, and not Movieverse.

Transformers Funko Pops Revealed to Be G1 Cartoon Heads on G1 Toy Bodies

Well, for those who like G1 and Funko Pops, this could make you happy. These new Transformers Pops were revealed as part on Instagram along with others, like the Monopoly man and Furby. The ones shown are Optimus Prime and Bumblebee but the deal here is that they are a combo of different G1 aspects. The heads come from the cartoon (Bumblebee has a mouth for instance) while the bodies are based on the G1 toys.

Check them out below and let us know if this mishmash interests you or if you were going to buy them regardless or not buy them no matter how they looked.

Not really my thing, but they are only $10 right? I'll probably get them since they're cheap. I'm guessing they'll do a limited version with toy heads.

I have never understood the appeal of these things either, but for some reason my office staff and loved ones have gifted me a number of different ones over the years because I'm a fan boy. I was recently going through some collectibles to sell on Ebay and discovered a few of the ones I own are "vaulted" and selling for approximately $200. Again, I don't get it but neither did most adults in 1985 when Garbage Pail Kids came out. We as kids couldn't get enough of them though. All that being said, I plan on picking these up simply because they're Transformers and they only retail for $10. In this day and age of figures like MP-44 going for almost $500 and Haslab Unicron's approximately $600 price tag, I'll take a cheap Transformers item when I can get one. :BOT:

These look awful. WHY does bumblebee have a mouth? After YEARS of not getting good transformers funkos THIS is what we're handed? This had better be the start of more cartoon accurate bobbles. If they keep up with this mouth thing I'm gonna lose it. We're not stupid, we can tell the difference between no mouth and a faceplate.

Retailers Carrying Exclusive Grimlock Funko Pop Revealed

Covering Transformers Funko Pop news has been tougher than any other TF merchandising product due to their narrow distribution channels and near automatic sold out status of exclusive variants. But now we actually have a clear idea of how you can at least get one of these exclusives: Grimlock. He is part of a long list of Spring 2021 shared exclusives which will be available on the Funko website to member AND at another retailer depending the country. For instance, Grimlock, the only TF Funko Pop in this list, will be available at EB Games in Canada and Gamestop in the US. You might even be able to preorder them now by contacting your local store. The full list of which toy is available at which retailer in which country is looooooooooooooong and they broke it down on their site in a myriad of illustrated tables. So head here to check out your specific country.

Absolutely. I'm so glad I am very limited. I own 2 as of today, (The Original Ultraman #764 which was a B&N Exclusive, and the Original Voltron #70). I would like to get the first Godzilla release (not any of its variants), but I am waiting to find one at a reasonable price.

I've seen the Target Exclusive Bumblebee a few times, but all I want is the standard Original Optimus Prime. Then I'll have my Mt Rushmore of 4 total.

There's also the issue of Chinese knockoffs which makes finding genuine older ones quite difficult when looking online.

Doesn't surprise me, I don't know if they're different in Canada, but these days almost a third of B&N is toys and games.

On the other hand, what the heck is Box Lunch, never heard of that store? Looks to be a more colorful, upbeat Hot Topic. Also surprised to see Newbury Comics got exclusives since it's a regional chain here in New England. I had no idea FYE was still around, the only one in Maine closed a long time ago.

I think I only know what 15 of the 500 exclusives are from. Basketball Chewbaccas a little bit odd -but since Disney who am I to judge... :P

I was tempted to sell the few Motu ones I have due to lack of being able to get hold of more of them, but having a Stinkor that stinks is something I couldn't be with out. Some funkos work well, others are abominations.

I only own 1 Funko Pop. A Joker. But I’m totally getting those Thundarr the Barbarian ones. That Ookla the Mok looks awesome.

Not really interested in the TFs though.

I went by a local Game Stop today (Springfield, MO) and they two of these and i decided to pick up one. Ive never bought anything from this particular line but thought Soundwave was pretty cool looking.

From the photos, I took a picture of both sides of the cassettes and with at least one cassette in his chest.

He was listed at $34.99.

Enjoy,

5 New TF Funko Pop Exclusives Can Only be Acquired Through NFT Lottery Purchase

PostPosted: Mon Mar 07, 2022 8:00 pm
by william-james88
How's that for a headline? We had reported on a Hasbro exclusive being behind an NFT paywall, and the community was wondering how long it would take for the same to happen to a Transformers exclusive. Well, this is getting closer to there. The Funko Pop website is advertising an NFT drop of 360000 Transformers NFTs on March 15th. You have samples of the NFTs on the website. It is unclear if you can purchase them without a crypto wallet.

Now, among the 360000 NFTs, there are around 9,596 which come with a token you can use to redeem an exclusive Funko Pop toy. The exclusives are below. So, just to be clear, buying a set of these NFTs means you only get a chance at getting a physical Funko Pop toy, over 90% of purchases will result in just NFTs. This is like those sports cars packs where you have a chance at there being a special rare card (like on that is autographed or has a piece of a game worn jersey) inside. But at least with the card example, you still get cards regardless. Here, you have less than a 10% chance at owning something physical.

And yes, I wrote the same thing twice in different ways, I just want it to be clear.
