I have started to collect Masterpieces and Binaltech/Alternators.

What are the feelings about the EHOBBY line? They seem pretty cool, since they are different from the norm. Whats your thoughts and opinions...

P.S.
How much should I pay for the Black Convoy, Nemesis Optimus Prime.

Is $64.99 a good price?

Wow just $79.99??? I paid over $100 for mine, and the shipping charges were like 20 bucks from Japan.

I would definately get one for $80, but I already got one.

Ehobby is a great collectors line.

That's a hell of a good price, unless it is the Alternators version, than it's about spot on, if not high.

They are talking about the little THS-02 Black Convoy. I believe you are thinking of the Binaltech Nemesis Prime, which usually sells in the $250 range.

Well thanks! :P

I do believe the Ehobby toys are nice to collect. To me they have always been desirable repaints of my beloved G1 figs, and often in Diaclone/pre Tf colors. I love 'em.

I agree--I love my Clampdown and Deepcover. I just wish they were a bit more affordable. I'd love to get Hauler, Road Rage, and Crosscut, not to mention a Sunstorm...nothing short of a very generous collector who would take pity on me and let me have one or a few of them for cheap is going to get me those anytime soon, though....

I love the ehobby releases. A lot are a little too pricey at this point. But as a G1 based collector, I find them to be a great way to add new characters and it is fun to see the characters I know so well in a new paint scheme.

Yeah, what Bonger said.

The THS-02B Convoy is sweet as, he's so kick ass I got the regular red version so they can action pose duel.

I actually bought a bunch of extra THS-02B's and sold'em, made a nice little profit too

I also like the E hobby Insecticon repaints, you get all three in the original Diaclone colours plus three little energon cubes for like $45US, great!

The Soundblaster repaint of Galaxyforce Soundwave is awesome that figure rocks so hard in those colours.

You should parce on Twincast though, I wish I had.

I'd disagree with your Twincast statement. I believe he is as cool as the others, and comes with an original cassette 'Flipsides' never released before.

My regret is that I never got the ANIME Astrotrain, for some stupid reason.

See if you don't get them, you start regretting it, and then the prices get to expensive to reasonably afford it, like when they are originally released.

I agree. I want Anime Astrotrain and the Minibot repaints(Destron). However, both of these are going for waaaaaay too much. I won't pay $200+ for minibots, I don't care what colour they are!

E-Hobby repaints are awesome G1 army builders. :D If you're worried about prices, just do some research. Take a look online at gallery photos from this site, or Maz's TF Square 1, so you can see what you're getting into. It more than likely helps if you grew up during G1, as the pull to own these will be very strong, indeed.

Out of the more affordable ones, I'd recommend Detritus (sand-colored repaint of Hound), and the Insecticon Clone Army.

Hey DJ, is that robot on the far left of your signature pic, a shot of the Ehobby black convoy?

Yeah, I missed the 'Gobots' the first time too, thankfully, I got them at an increased price that was not horrible as they are now.

Anume Astrotrain, well, he's one of those I say oh well to.

Nope, all are Micormaster Gestalts.

The black one is Reverse Evolution Sixturbo. Story here.
