The details of the line it would be released in along with the size is not 100% clear. But yeah, non transforming.

I am tempted to do another news post just for it to see the outrage but the details are super sparse

Weird how no rummours on the reuse of Slammer but it would be shame for a deluxe that will likely not have his titan class to go with him. Hoping the titan class rumor is wrong so that we can get at least Zarak if not Metrotitan.

Id be very excited for a BW Grimlock and earth mode sideswipe 2 pack since I never got siege version
New mold tarantulas of course would be a must have, and id have him cause all kinds of trouble alongside Shockwave
And ill definitely be getting the dinobots

Im a bit on the fence about coronation starscream though, would the shoulders, crown etc just be added parts that are removable for transformation or would they be part of the figure? And if the coronation parts are accessories, would he still be at a voyager price point or would he be hot rodded up to leader class? Just thinking out loud because what they do with this upcoming starscream will affect whether I get it or just get ER version instead

Bending legs backwards counts as non transforming

in comparrison a possible retroaction version or even RED could have just as much of a transformation by sitting down though I'd prefer a reuse of the cyberverse toy.

If I remember correctly, Apollux on tfw2005, who has been fairly reliable on generations stuff, has stated that although internal references from earlier on in the design process referred to him as a partial retool of warpath, the images of grey prototype he's seen are different enough that he has speculated the plan changed to a whole new mold. Slammer also allegedly comes with a sort of chainsaw-shield weapon made from his treads.

I really wish ER Sideswipe and Mirage were in a 2-pack together... Being packaged with BW characters is a bit annoying and kinda lame.
Really glad to hear there's a good chance that we'll get all of the G1 Dinobots... I just hope that all are leader class!

I imagine that's the point. People who want the BW figures will have to pay more to get G1 guys they don't want and vice versa, which means more money for Hasbro.

I have many questions on this list, chief among them the SG stuff. Don't get me wrong, I'd love some SG, but a Selects Commander seems very unlikely, especially as a SG repaint.

really annoyed if it ends up being BW and G1 multipacks. I want Grimlock and Skywarp, not the Earthrise rejects they be packed with.

At least a lot of this is skippable for me

I'm not sure how I feel about the G1/BW multipacks yet. I definitely want the BW figures, but I'm not sure "earth" versions of the most earthlike cars from all of Siege are going to be worth it.

I mean, what can they really do to Siege Sidwswipe to make him an "earth" mode, fill in some of the detail on the sides of the car so it is smooth? That's about all I can think of using the current mold as a base.

Now, if they instead go full blown 1980's Countach, then it will be shut up and take my money!!!

With Mirage, if they switch the clear plastic from Siege with something opaque, then I'm probably in.

Same here, and I expect that box art will be freaking awesome, a white velociraptor and a Lamborghini tearing up some volcanic setting with laser fire all around...bring it on!!!

I say keep your imagination open on it. So far in this toyline, I feel like when they've done "space" vs "earth" modes of different characters, the differences are significant enough to at least amount to them having a different feel in some way. Datsun bros are a huge example of this.

I'm guessing it'll be more his robot mode that will be the most visibly different. For example: I for one would love to see Sideswipe get back his little shoulder-armor-platings from his G1 look in robot mode, at least. Doing that would change up the transformation sequences a pretty good amount at least on the front/top section of the figure. For vehicle mode, the differences might be as minor as the Wheeljack's Earthrise vs Netflix versions, but he might also get a spoiler to go on the back.

In the end, I have a feeling there will be enough changes to make for a pretty satisfying earth Sideswipe figure. Leak says mirage is just a repaint though, too bad.

Great news for fans in North America, another rumour from earlier in the year is coming to fruition. Here is what we had heard through the grape vine a couple of months ago:

This also means that they might post other figures that were already out instead of just exclusives going forward. This would be very helpful to people looking for Thrust and Runabout, for instance. Also, this would help with the scalper issue many are facing since they are imposing a 2 figure limit.

Will this be for premium members only, early access, or open to everyone. I wasn't planning to renew premium until they started having more things I want. The free shipping and lack of stress over releases (just don't ask delta magnus about GB MP10) are so far the only reason and that's not good enough for me to renew right now at $50.

Should be open to everyone, but might have some premium access ahead of opening them to everyone like previous exclusives and back in stock Fridays.

My membership just ran out Sunday and I can buy the ones they currently have as of right now.

Hopefully, with Pulse spreading to the UK "very soon" this will also be how Hasbro supplies other regions with figures that are currently US/Canada exclusive. Instead of those regions having to wait for a potential Takara release or paying ridiculous amounts from US scalpers, they can just buy from Hasbro. Or not. Hasbro will still find a way to ignore a lot of their non-American customers.

Everyone's memberships expired and I'm rather annoyed with the renewal being $50. They sent a survey back in April asking what we wanted to see from Premium, then in August they promised the program would be entirely revamped based on the feedback and gave us a sneak peak:

There's no mention of this on the current Premium page and I doubt my upcoming purchases (Deep Cover, Volcanicus and Abominus) will be applied toward any sort of Premium tier. Also when going through my emails looking for this info I noticed a few times they said Premium members would get "surprise gifts with purchase", but I know I never got anything free. I don't think I'll be renewing unless they have some sort of amazing incentive or Preimum-only exclusive that I just have to have.

I pretty much gave up on all those empty promises when we saw that the Black Friday coupon code was limited to only items that had been out forever and I already had. That sealed my fate for Premium, no way I was paying once they wanted me to.

But I have a feeling Pulse might come crawling back to us with some type of deal trying to get us back in once they see that not very many people are willing to actually pay for a membership. Sorry Pulse, Amazon you aren't.
