IF the JP crossover is the bronco, it gives me hope KITT will be soon. I have a hard time believing the crossover will be a retool og BW Megs...how different could it be from T-Wrecks? All of the others have been really heavy retools of mainline releases...the "shell" is totally different. Making a t rex out of t rex almost seems too lazy for Hasbro.

Although, we are talking about Hasbro...

As stated above, KITT was going to be one of the first one but the deal fell through, so unless those talks revive, he's not happening I'm afraid. Also Megs is the one leakers have been speaking about for months...so looks to be a done deal in that regard.

PAWTUCKET, RI – June 29, 2021 – Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS), Universal Brand Development and Amblin Entertainment today revealed the first-ever TRANSFORMERS X Jurassic Park collaboration. The iconic T.Rex and Ford Explorer from the blockbuster 1993 film, Jurassic Park, are now TRANSFORMERS robots – TYRANNOCON REX and AUTOBOT JP93. The new TRANSFORMERS X Jurassic Park figure and vehicle pack celebrates the groundbreaking, ultimate thrill ride, Jurassic Park, which brought audiences to an island theme park populated by dinosaurs created from prehistoric DNA… and we all know what happened next!

Welcome…to Jurassic Park. TYRANNOCON REX is on the loose, and it’s up to AUTOBOT JP93 to track her down and stop her from wreaking havoc. Both figures feature a combined 260 unique decos and details inspired by fan-favorite moments from Jurassic Park. The TYRANNOCON REX figure converts into T.rex mode in 27 steps and features detailed molded dino texture. The figure features an all-new head mold and stands at 7 inches.

Fans will also enjoy a nostalgic interpretation of one of the iconic vehicles from the film, as the AUTOBOT JP93 figure converts into licensed Ford Explorer mode in 18 steps. The figure stands at 5.5 inches and comes with a blaster accessory that can attach to the figure in both modes. Dr. Alan Grant and the Game Warden inspired both the JP93 hat in bot mode and the JP93 blaster accessory.

Both figures are contained within packaging inspired by the unforgettable scene in Jurassic Park when the T. rex gets loose from her enclosure and crushes the Ford Explorer. The packaging also includes a cardboard backdrop illustration of the T. rex’s cage, so that fans can recreate the iconic scene, in addition to T. rex footprint graphics on the back of the pack.

TRANSFORMERS robots have always been… More than Meets the Eye, but now, through the TRANSFORMERS Collaborative, fans can experience these larger-than-life characters as they team up, mash up, and meet up with other characters, teams and people who share this same special quality. It is a world of constant change where things are not what they seem.

The TYRANNOCON REX figure and AUTOBOT JP93 vehicle pack are available now at $104.99 for pre-order on Amazon.com. A second release of the figure and vehicle pack will be available starting December 1, 2021, via HasbroPulse.com and select retailers worldwide.

I like Autobot JP93 mostly because of the alt mode and the hat
Could care less about tyrannocon Rex though
A bit pricey too
Still really cool! We need more cowboy/outlaw type transformers. We already have a samurai with Bludgeon, a few ninja characters, and a spartan with Impactor. Let's get some Cad Bane type bots. If im not mistaken there's already a cowboy type character in the cyberverse series

This was expensive but hey at least we have another female figure. Autobot JP93 looks pretty cool too. The deco on both really stand out and while I am not a huge fan of Jurassic Park like I am Transformers this should be a really fun set

...okay this is the best looking crossover so far for me, that Rexy is a better looking repaint for that mold than T-Wrecks and the Explorer looks solid. I like both their head sculpts, and the Explorer bot looks to use all new parts but copy like 80% of the ER Datsun engineering/transformation, which is interesting. Hopefully these'll show up cheaper down the line though, $105 bucks seems like a lot for a Leader and a...I dunno if the Explorer is equivalent to a Deluxe or a Voyager, but that's still too much either way.

There is, yes, Wild Wheel.

Yep. Wildwheel. Autobot turned Decepticon, if I remember correctly.

I'm thrilled that we get another female 'bot, and very pleasantly surprised that she's a Decepticon. I suppose it's likely due to the fact that in the original JP movie, all the dinosaurs are female, but either way, I'll take it.

Kewl. Yes let's bring Wild Wheel to generations and pit him against JP93, wow this guy needs a better name lmao
And one or two more outlaw type bots!

If the price goes down on the set I'd like to think of Tyrannocon as having a Strika type personality or like Hela from MCU, just calm and ruthless. Need a better look at her head sculpt too

I'd like the vehicle separate. Pass on the T-rex.

really liking the Trex and its bot mode head, def would consider getting it over the other two uses as I plan to eventually get MP BW Megatron.
*I'd be using the Trex as a merc in all likelyhood with the Trex not really being a bad guy and the best bit is, no stupid merc faction symbol yay!

Jeep on the otherhand, I'd have to head swap it with something else. Kinda feels 80s or wfc stylised alternator which isnt a bad thing.

I love this, this might be the first cross-over set I get because I love Jurassic Park.

Also: and this may just be me wanting this to be so because I know Hasbro/Takara are probably not doing something like this for a LONG time, but I swear that Autobot JP93 is a pre-tool for Armada Red Alert, as I'm having a hard time trying to figure out if it's a re-use of an existing mold or not.

New mold on JP93, can't tell if Tyrannocon Rex has any new parts other than the head. Quite a surprise both possibilities came true.

JP93 is the worst TF name since Under-3 and that's only a name by default. But it's a really nice looking TF. Is it another all-new mold? Eaat your heart out, Ironhide.

Glad the Tt-Rex has a new head if nothing else. I'd feel happier about if if the Megatron mold hadn't broken on me. At least it's in the better mode out of the box, so I just won't transform it,.

Also: the names really don't bother me. I actually kinda like "Autobot JP93" as a name. Makes me think of how in the film Bumblebee was "B-127" at first.

Tyrannocon Rex is dumb, but doesn't bother me so much. I've seen for other people though it's a big turn-off. So here are some alternatives from the Jurassic Park Wiki: "The animatronic was nicknamed Roberta in Phil Tippett's storyboards for the first film, however, the majority of fans address her as Rexy, the nickname given to her in the original novel"

She can be called Tyrannocon for short, or if we're being grammatically correct, we could call her Regina, since her species name could/should be "Tyrannosaurus Regina" or "Queen of the Tyrant Lizards"

"Rex" is latin for "King" as I recall, so calling this a "her" doesn't seem to jive with the terminology. It's correct that it should be latin for "Queen".

Or is this another one of those situations where the character is referred to as one gender, but 'identifies themselves' as some other gender....? The head sculpt is nice - pity I have no interest in this figure, having already dismissed Barney Megatron and "T-Wrecks".

All I see is a new kingdom (or beyond) Skids in that jeep guy. Overall the set is cool and I did preorder it since I would like one version of the T-rex mold in my collection. I think I am going to use the jeep guy as a generations wild wheel.

In the original Jurassic Park, all of the clone Dinosaurs were initially female. Although it should be noted that this is in fact NOT supposed to be the exact T-Rex from JP (because last time I checked it wasn't a robot), but a Transformer-inspired interpretation of it. So of course it gets weird here...

Vehicles on earth aren't alive, so if a Transformer scans a vehicle, they still retain whatever personality they are...

But if you scan a living animal, and take it on as an alternate form, does your gender automatically change to whatever gender the animal you scanned is/was? I mean Tigatron scanned a female tiger, but he IS Male. Megatron, and Dinobot scanned fossils (not even alive). Do we assume all the other living animals the Maximals and Predacons scanned were the same gender they were?..... yeah it gets real weird.

I mean I get the simplicity of wanting this Tyrannosaur Transformer (based on the original Tyrannosaur Animal from the JP movies) to be female, because the animal was female, but I guess we have to wait and see, until then, people are just going to interpret it however they wish.

Tyrannocon is referred to as "her" at least twice.
