Like the sign says, are these really Lucky Draw figs? They look just like the BW Fox Kids repaints from like 2000.

I do not know much about Lucky draws, but I do not remember ever seeing these repaints before. Maybe someone with some more knowledge will drop by.

I hate to say it, but where's that know-it-all Raymond T. when you need him? I recognize the Cheetor & Rattrap re-paints, the rattrap was a Wal-Mart exlcusive, just not in the packaging shown. Same w/Cheetor, I saw a regular carded version like that American style. Never seen that Airazor before though.........

They're legit. While nothing remarkable to people that had much easier access to the Fox Kids! repaints, they are Lucky Draws all the same. There may also be some minor differences, I don't know that much about them. Just enough to recall a previous discussion about them.

Wouldn't be surprised if these have been listed unsuccessfully for a while, either.

You're right. The colors are just lighter in those pics then of the pics I have seen of the Fox Kids Repaints in the past so it through me a bit.

Ahem, I'm pretty sure you've got the wrong Rider. There are dozens of us out there, you know.

There might be a real difference in the coloring, Hotrod. Like I said, I don't remember the full story on these all that well. Don't even know if they got to Rhinox, Terrorsaur, Tarantulas, or Waspinator.

It was night here... I tend to sleep at night... :P

These are not exactly Lucky Draws, but they are on the same line as they were limited edition mail-aways. One of the toy features of the Lucky Draws is that they are either gold or silver or that they are black or clear. Another feature of the lucky draw is that they are prizes to be won. I'm not completely sure, but I believe that with these figures you had to submit your order form so you could buy them as long as their supply lasted.

I'm not sure about the other 2 but that red and gold Cheetor came out years ago. Sadly I never even found his show colors. I have 2 versions of TM Cheetor, the Armada version and that red and gold one.

There is nothing forcing Lucky Draws to be a particular variation. The GF Scourge, for example, was in (vaguely) Sky Lynx colors.

You sound spot-on about them being mailaway exclusives and not the traditional Lucky Draw, though. Thanks for confirming that for us. Probably with TV Magazine, who did stuff like the Crystal Convoy or ML Scourge.
