Yeah, they've all been a little nuts. The problem is, for whatever reason, Hasbro values those old-fashioned o-ring Joe figures at like $20+ each. Which is INSANE, but they were selling 2 packs of them with some extra accessories for $42. They're probably adding another $30-40 to the price of this, when Soundwave is really just a leader class that maybe warrants a SLIGHT markup for being an online exclusive.
This thing was announced the same day the Hasbro GI Joe team confirmed new o-ring releases were on-hold (likely due to poor sales, because come on, $42 for two o-rings?) so lots of Joe collectors are understandably a little miffed by it.
