What do you mean nobody cares - they are allways the first up for suggestions everytime reissues are mentioned and the boxed set combiner teams are some of the most highly priced G1 toys around
Theres a lot of hype about the movie right now and thats what the majority of us are talking about but superion, menasor, defensor, bruticus and predaking are far from forgotton or neglected in the minds of the fan base

Even when it comes to the new classic 2.0 figure and supculation over if there going to do a combiner for it. There is always mention of the aerialbots, stuticons, protectbots, combaticons, predicons being redone for this. So I would say that the combiners are alive and well in every fans heart.

I think a lot of people care, but they are kinda pricey.
Predaking is a VERY poplular TF. It runs about $250 on Ebay.
Im thinking about buying one...

A lot of fans are hoping that the real Devastator not the misnamed Brawl will make an apperance in TF2. Far from forgotten. But with new versions the hope is they will always do them better than before. And if engineering one toy to transform from car to robot is hard engineering it to combine with another is doubley difficult. Just as the triple changers are harder than a single alt mode.
Oh and lets not forget the often mentioned Seacons reissue than many want. And everyone went gaa gaa over the Energon combiners. Though now many dislike them for various reasons. And many were upset from the start over the cheaping out with only two basic molds for the appendages. But hell combiners are always first on every want list. They are just difficult to engineer and expensive to buy the older ones.

I just saw all the Aerialbots at my local KB Toys. They were something like $3.99 each for the Transformers Universe series.
I just looked online and the whole set is available there as a single purchase.

Mini aerialbots don't count!
I don't like Superion due to his leaning legs. I have 3 of him.

What do you mean no one cares about combiners? Do you not realize combiners are still some of the most sought after toys. The problem is that it is difficult to find complete sets. And even then they can be expensive luckiloy I own all the G1 combiners plus the energon and rid combiners and a couple of Japanese combiners but they were not easy to come by.
