Here's a new product for any Transformers loving dog owner out there. A new Optimus Prime dog toy has been found at Target. It is also available on their website for $9.99. This is a plush type toy that also squeaks and below are images of it. The sighting comes from TF fan Shark Jumper who found it in stores.

Just what and why? Does anyone notice how he slopes out from head to legs? What next, a Megatron scratch post? I'd rather buy another core class. This is so weird, I might be more supportive f I had a dog.

This seems rather cute, though the image of a dog mauling the Autobots' leader is hilarious.
Might honestly get one for my little terrier to keep him occupied, sadly his stuffed bear he had for years got torn up by our great dane.

I bet this probably passes articulation tests very easily!

Maybe your terrier will give him an ab crunch! Lol

What type of idiot would spend so much money on a stuffy toy version of Optimus Prime, just to get ripped to shreds by a dog? It's a bloody dog, just give it a ratty old soft toy or a cheap squeeky rubber bone. It doesn't care.

Honestly, it's like those moronic parents that but their 3 year old kids designer, branded clothing and footware, which lasts less than a year due to the kid growing rapidly and/or destroying them by virtue of being a kid and doing what kids do all day. All the cool kids have cheap Batman/Power Rangers/etc themed trainers anyway...

This is how I feel about that big box of Lamb Chop dog toys in the center aisle at Walmart. I'm sure that's what the late Shari Lewis planned for her beloved character.

...Now I'm worried some grown nerds are going to give me weird side-eyes when I go to the shops to get this for my dog.

So, uh, for anyone curious about getting this for their pet, I WILL say that it's not exactly made of tough stuff.

Got one today and gave it to my Dog (She's around 30 lbs, so not exactly a BIG dog), and she managed to chew through his feet within 30 minutes of casual Dogness.

She quickly turned him into Optimus Prime: 1986 Movie Edition Dog Toy.

Good info. My dog's only 10 lbs and fairly old (around 12 years) so he'll probably have more time with it. He's more interested in snuggling with plushes rather than chewing them, heh!

I wasn't worried, some people just don't understand how much dogs are a part of families, and how much we mean to them and them to us.

Plus, my dog loves his Prime. He and I both have our Primes to mess with now

Thanks! And he loves it, he was carrying him around the rest of the evening after I gave it to him!
