No lie. Looks like I'll be saving a lot of money next year. Or burning more of it on 3rd party stuff.
More slander :-(

Do you tend to buy a lot from the little kiddie lines? Because if you don't then your not saving any money, the product is not targeted at you. It's like commenting on Matel's latest Barbie line and saying "I don't collect this, so I'm saving lots of money". Doesn't make much sense.

If it looked good, I'd buy it regardless of what line it's in. I had briefly considered Twitch or Thrash since they were new characters, but I just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on it once the Earthspark line started showing up at Walmart and I got good look at them in-hand. Unfortunately, nothing I've seen announced in a while in ANY line has really screamed "BUY ME!"

My purchases tapered off dramatically this year, with the Trainbots being my only significant HasTak buys. I have broken down and picked up the dinky Dinos, but only with the expectation of getting the upgrade kit. Everything else has been 3rd party.

Alright, you are being fair to all lines. Thanks for the reply. Oh and did haslab Deathsaurus interest you?

Not as much as the Unicron did, but I just couldn't justify the expense at the time. Unfortunately I'm only marginally familiar with the Deathsaurus character, but I'd really prefer an updated Liokaiser, not the recolored Sky Reign. I'm an idiot for a combiner team.

Warrior Bee actually looks decent.

And I adore that Skullcruncher and Elita. I will pick up both of those

I have finally picked up all the deluxe class figures for Earthspark so far. I didn't intend to, but that's what ended up happening. I should have all the pieces for Mandroid. But I can't find them anymore. I stuck them in a baggie when I had to move everything into the basement while painting the house and have not recovered them yet. It's not like I'm terribly invested in building a Mandroid but now I have half a dude just sitting around.

Video Review for Transformers Earthspark Cyber Combiner Mo Malto and Bumblebee

Below you will find both a quick written review and video review of the upcoming Cyber-COmbiner two pack from the Earthspark line which has a transformer combine with a human who is in an exosuit.

chuckdawg1999 wrote:Once again another early Christmas present in the form of the Cyber-Combiner two packs showed up from Amazon. The Bumble and Mo Malto set is fun and takes the Crash Combiner concept to a new level. The increase in size allows for more articulation for each figure and the combined mode. Yes, there are some hollow bits on both figures and the combined modes but they all feel solid with some heft. Bumblebee and Mo Malto are fun figures for big and small hands alike.

Video Review for Transformers Earthspark Cyber-Combiner Terran Twitch and Robby Malto

Below we have a review for the second pair of Cyber-Combiners that you'll shortly be seeing on shelves. Enjoy.

chuckdawg1999 wrote:If it continues the Cyber-Combiner subline might produce some of the best toys of 2024. The Cyber-Combiners are the best parts of Crash Combiners, and the Energon Powerlinx system, enhanced for 2024. Twitch and Robby make for a great pair but having both sets in I feel that the best combinations are between each human mech and each Autobot. I recommend the line and look forward to what's to come.

I've been getting that "Technical Difficulties" message for about a week now during Heavy Metal War, and all battle records for roughly the 28th (give or take a few hours) disappeared. I'm guessing all posts made during that time disappeared as well.

I just happened to still have my last response to that animated post copied via right-click, so I just pasted it again yesterday. Hope that didn't confuse anyone trying to fix the problem!

Yes, the site had technical issues and the latest posts were not backed up in the server.

Gotta say, I really like the way the Japanese version of the Cyberbase turned out. The two Hasbro releases for Cyberverse and Earthspark are kinda bland, but the one Takara is releasing for Earthspark has a lot more character to it and comes with a much better Prime figure.

Though for $45 US it really should look good. Only seeing it on Takara Tomy Mall, is it an exclusive?

If I can get it from Amazon Japan I'd be all over it but not as an exclusive.

Fyi, Warrior Class Thrash is available for pre-order from Amazon US with a February 15th ship date.

We had shared images previously of the upcoming warrior class figures from Transformers Earthspark and in there we could see that both Twitch and Bumblebee had these black prongs that hinted at a combining gimmick. Well there are more images now on Amazon and they show us exactly what we get out of that. It's, well, you'll see. Below you will see all the images of these two upcoming toys along with the combining description from Hasbro. They are in the 5th wave of warrior class figures. If you are wondering, the 2nd wave was the one with Thrash, the 3rd wave had Jawbreaker and the 4th wave had the Cyberverse shockwave redeco. It's being found in target stores now. A full breakdown of waves 4 and 5 can also be found below.

Wave 4

2x Optimus Prime
2x Thrash
2x Shockwave

Wave 5

1x Megatron
1x Jawbreaker
2x Bumblebee
2x Twitch

Ride and Combine description:

COMBINE WITH WARRIOR CLASS TERRAN TWITCH: Warrior Class Bumblebee can ride and combine with Warrior Class Terran Twitch (sold separately, subject to availability) to create super battle vehicles and reveal weapons
