Last week we reported a rumor that San Diego Comic-Con 2007 exclusive Alternators Rodimus would have a general release in Malaysia. This is no longer a rumor, but is now a fact. KA of TFW2005 has reported finding Rodimus in South East Asia and has posted images as proof here. To get the latest news on Alternators Rodimus keep an eye on the Seibertron.com Toy Section.

Well, knew this would happen... at least there's a chance you'll be able to buy one a year from now much like N. Prime. Stupid Comic Con Exclusives.

I'm having a hard time from the pics, can anyone tell if this Rodimus has the flip down visor like the Kiss Play version?

well will probably find it fairly cheap, its just the overseas shipping that will bring the cost to $50-60 just like Nemesis Prime. Not too bad could be alot worse.

Hasbro's Worldwide Distribution is the pits! How can this be an exclusive when it is released in other markets. Simply stupid! Just like the SDCC Nemesis Prime from last year which was released in HK! Stupid Hasbro!

Thats cool, but I'm kinda off this figure.

I loved it at first, but it doesn't change the fact that it's leftover figures with a coat of red and orange.

I love the Binal/Alt line, but the more I think about it the more I can't but believe that maybe if they made half as many molds as they did color schemes that the line wouldn't be in this state.

But just to kick my own ass, I most likely will buy it if Hasbro does go ahead with it's plans to sell it online in hopes that maybe Takara will pick up on the "Exclusive" loophole and release the Botcon Seekers as Takara product, hus still techincly keeping the Con versions "Hasbro US Exclusives"

Wait... Im confused. I thought this was a SDCC exculsive. So does this Asian release give us hope that maybe more of these will be produced and available for import? or is this another Nemesis Prime snafu where he'll be just as hard to get.

I wouldn't say N. Prime is terribly hard to come by. He's a little costly from the wrong seller, but ebay never runs out of sellers. Hot Rod'll be the same way I suspect, maybe more like Camshaft or Swerve in price.
