Anyone know if they are going to be making more Movie line figs, ones we don't even know about yet? Or have the released protos of everyone, and that's the end of the line?

There will be more. Upcoming is a leader class Brawl, a leader Prime repaint (Night Watch Prime), Deluxe Arcee, Deluxe 08 Bumblebee, Deluxe Dreadwing or Dreadwind (an airplane drone from the video game). The last three are appearing in stores.

More leader-sized figures are rumored, but no specifics have been announced.

More real gear figs are coming too.

Unleashed Megatron is coming too, and apparently some people have got the Unleashed Optimus Prime all from the continuity of Unleashed Bumblebee. Hopefully they will make Unleashed Figures of all the Transformers in the movie.

That's a question I've been wondering too. The above transformers we all know about, and in my case have got them in stores already except for leader Prime. Some places in Hong Kong you can get leader Brawl.

But other than that, will there be any others? Can I assume that this movie toys is actually a new line, and it's expected to sustain for at least until the next movie comes out? Bearing in mind that with any new lines there are waves. If this is so I hope they at least produce toys in the automorph tradition. That is after all one of their USPs for this line of toys, and it's just nice for consistency sake.

I forgot to mention the two Jazz repaints (battle damaged and G1), Thundercracker, Rescue Ratchet, and G1 style Starscream. This is all we have heard about for sure. Anything after the figs I mentioned is just speculation.

There is a nice Shockwave in the TF game I'd like to see released.

I also hope to see a leader Blackout and a deluxe (or smaller) Frenzy to round out the movie characters.

Well, there's also more coming. There's a Leader Brawl Desert Attack repaint, Landmine, & Stockade coming along too, & may I mention, Incinerator, Evac, Landmine, Desert Attack Brawl, & Stockade are a part of a movie continuation line which Hasbro calls Allspark Power, which includes new moulds & recolors of past figures, which will release in Spring 2008.

They're also making Transformers of the jet/plane that took out Scorponok, the S7 GMC SUV and the military Jeep vehicle that accompanied the Autobots to the city at the end of the movie.

I believe the movie line is going to be a full blown line that lasts 12 to 18 months. The movie line will be available at retail alongside the Animated line. I imagine the movie line with be replaced with Transformers Universe (aka Classics 2.0) in Fall 2008.

Wha? Just to clarify: these are actual transformers, right? It'd make sense. If I remember right, Longarm's alt mode is the tow truck that Mikaela hot-wired to tow Bumblebee around after his legs (if not entire lower half) were crushed.

Blah! Why so long!?
:-x

Not that I mind so much, it's just I'd rather just get to Classics 2.0 already.

And another thing: why frak are they renaming it Universe, anyway? I mean, didn't they already make a line called Universe, already? I only just a few weeks ago bought the second of those two Energon repaints KB had as exclusives. (And yes, when I last looked they were still carrying Downshift and Snow Cat.) Don't mind me though, it just seems odd that Hasbro would keep using Universe like this.

I agree. Way too frigging long. I personally feel like some of the figures that are being done for the movie should be put into Classics 2.0.

And this thing about renaming it Universe... Sorry for being whiny about it (or maybe beating a dead horse), but it seems to me that they've already done a Universe line. If this is really Hasbro continuing Classics, then shouldn't they call it Classics?
