The Hasbro ones have shorter smockestackes, the first one from hasbro has Battledamege paint, the scened one has a diferent paint sheme and a DVD.

The MP-2 is Ultra Magnus and the Golden lagune one is completely covered in gold.

Not a lie a missleading advertisment. It promotes the release of the 20th anniversery movie on the side of the box but does not and says it does not include the movie. I found out when mine came in the mail, oh well

I am content on my 20th Anni prime with battle damage. And then off of Ebay you can get aftermarket metal stacks to replace the trimmed one. I prefer my Prime with damage. I would only get MP-04 if it was well cheaper then normal, but I would like a Ultra magnus but they are a pretty penny.

Wasn't there also a Nemesis MP Prime (or Black Convoy) released, but as a exclusive. It might have been just a sweet custom but I remember it a year or so ago when the Optimus Prime fan guy was selling all of his MASSIVE Prime collection.

Your boy has a gallery on this sight, no golden prime though. Mine looks orange next to the others in the pics but he is indeed red. Allegedly we have truth in advertisment laws in the usa but it,s easily bullshited to the advantage of the corporations. Anyone would think dvd prime came with a dvd but no.TX

After reading that, something does come to mind about a gold prime and the lettering on the box changed to gold. Completely forgotten about that before now.

Personally, I think that gold scheme looks terrible. Once I remove the battle damage from my Prime, he will be perfect. Though he was pretty damn perfect when I got him.

Actually, it's not misleading, just careful wording. It says its the 20th Anniversary DVD edition, it dosn't say anything about including one.

Really? I've never seen it. Why the other ones are Blue is beyond me, especially since its suppose to be 'DVD edition colours'

yes thats right there's a grey gun version of the 20th anniversary prime, which i heard they changed coz people wanted a black gun instead.
(this is the first release not to be confused with the DVD version which always has a blue gun)

on another note someone on youtube has a video comparing takara Mp-01 to the 20th DVD aniversary prime. search for '20th masterpiece'

Yeah it was the first wave before they recolored. They sold it with the gray gun, and I believe the Truck windshield was more blue, than they recolored the gun to be black and the swapped the bluish windshield with a gray one.

I mean, this is what I observed through the pictures of the black gun prime here, and the gray gun prime from tformers.com

Yep. People just dont read. The sticker just promoted the dvd anniversary. It even says dvd not included I think.
