Transformers Coming to Hot Wheels Color Shifter Line

Entertainment Earth has a new listing for an upcoming Hot Wheels case. This one is for the Color Shifters line, and if you are unfamiliar with it, we have a video review below as an example. What’s cool about this upcoming case/wave is that it includes a Transformers car. It doesn’t specify the character though but it’s most probably Optimus Prime as that is the only mainline casting that was made from the ground up for a Transformers car.

Here is the description and content details:

Hot Wheels Color Shift 1:64 Vehicle 2025 Mix 3 Case of 10:

Hot Wheels Color Shifters vehicles rev up the fun of sensory play with cars that change color when dipped in water! When kids dunk or splash their 1:64 scale Color Shifters vehicle with icy cold or very warm water, it instantly changes color. Change the water temperature and the deco changes back. It's like having two cars in one – hit the road, race the track and then change color and race again.

This Hot Wheels Color Shift 1:64 Vehicle 2025 Mix 3 Case of 10 (977C) includes 10 individually packaged vehicles and includes:
1x Barbaric
1x Vw Drag Bus
2x Transformers
1x Nissan Skyline Gt-R (R32)
1x Mattel Dream Mobile
1x Trak Tune
2x El Segundo Coupe
1x Fast Felion

It's £70 (US$94 according to the link).
It's like chicken or the egg. Do you get drunk then order the tankard, OR order the tankard then get p!ssed.

Ultra Magnus (*cough* white Optimus Prime *cough*)
Bug Bite (white VW Beetle)

Good guess, but turns out it was Tracks

First Look at Transformers Hot wheels Tracks Color Shifter

We knew we were getting a Transformers themed color shifter in the 3rd mix of 2025's Color Shifters but we just didn't know which one it would be. There have only been 2 "new" castings for Transformers Hot Wheels so far, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee so we figured it could be one of those. But no. Instead, Hot Wheels has picked a previously available Corvette casting with a plastic body, often used for more gimmick related sets. It being a Corvette, they have turned it into Tracks, with a body that goes from Blue to Black. So from Tracks to Loudpedal, if you want to see it through a more fun lens.

No way, Hot Wheeles Tracks is actually what I've been asking for. Now where the Metroplex racetrack? :michaelbay:

Bad timing though, saving up for something, I'm broke as heck :-(

G1 Tracks is a pleasant surprise. What is the price?

Perhaps the 2nd TF color change in that set could be G1 Wheeljack (Lancia Stratos).

I would like to see a G1 Ratchet. Color change to yellowing (how befitting) into an Emergency Green Ratchet.

If you can find it in the wild (retail), I thought these shouldn't cost more than a breakfast.

But it's WH... I think it's a collectable line not meant to enjoy except for scalpers, so yeah I understand.

Metroplex would be an awesome track set, but Trypticon would be even better. Hasbro made a Bayverse Devastator RPMs track set once, and Mattel had some half-heartedly made Bayverse track set too. But damn, with Hasbro & Mattel collaborating, it would be awesome to HasLab a premium Cybertron/Velocitron Speedia set with brand new HW molds with more verhicles with each Tier unlocks.

That's before all the Hot Wheels collectors buy them up the first day that they're on shelves, after camping out at a Target overnight. Expect to pay close to like $3 million on the aftermarket.

Yeah, I'm not Hot Wheels expert, sorry if I was expected to be. Hot Wheeles is pretty scattered around stores in my experience, there are huge bins or barely any shelf space and I honestly don't have a clue how I'd have a shot at finding a car I want out of a pile of thousands of them. I payed around 15 bucks for Optimus w/trailer, don't know the actual standard price he was supposed to be.

Also yeah, Wheeljack would be nice to see next. Don't know who would be a good idea after that, the lambo twins are too generic.

I've yet to see a G1 Bumblebee (yellow variant) on shelves Down Under. The 'Goldbug' variant was more readily available & managed to get one. Here's hoping Tracks is unpopular.

Every store that has Basic Hotwheels, I see a bunch of them taken off of the shelf pegs & lined up. You know a Hotwheels collector(s) has hit that store.

Noticed this tag at Target, hadn't noticed it before when trying to catch a Prime or Magnus.

Weird if that's the tag they're using for the regular Track Fleet line that just has one Transformer in the box, I'm hoping it means they're getting a case of just Prime and Magnus and maybe some others (the vehicle on the peg is the one from the Magnus assortment so I'm not getting my hopes up).

Target got soooo many complaints from whinging TF collectors missing out on the only one TF in the Trackfleet case assortment, they decided to put up a peg tag to trigger the TF fan base.
