I have to say, I had zéro interests in getting Armada Galvatron, but that Megazarak is a beauty.

When I found out that the head parts weren't so easy to remove as they were for Megatron I chose to pass so I'm hoping it's not so problematic with Megazarak who screams G2 IMHO! :VEHI:

So, I guess in like 7 years when they finally complete the Armada cast we'll get another boxset of red and white Demoilsher, or dare I say blue Starscream with all the other mini-cons they left out of the releases for every other character.

Swindle and Fangry pre-ordered. I'll get the minicon pack and Red Alert and split it with someone, since I only want some of the Minicons.

For anyone willing to take the risk of trusting Walmart in the US, they have the deluxes, voyagers and leaders at the old $25, $35 amd $55 prices but Swindle is already sold out. I pre-ordered Joyride, Tailgate, Vector Prime, Swindle (before he sold out), Megazarak and Unicron Soldier from Walmart. If Walmart doesn't Walmart things up, I'll take them all at the old prices.

However, because I don't fully trust them, I also have a backup pre-order for Swindle from Amazon. He's the only one I worry about selling out elsewhere if Walmart screws it up. I'll figure out the others later if any of them get cancelled.

I'll probably also pre-order powerlinx Red Alert and the minicons.

Sounds like someone doesn't remember the events of the Armada episode "Puppet" in which Red Alert, Hot Shot, Megatron, Starscream, and Demolishor all got their color-change power-ups. ;)

Just watched the stream, damnI really want that Mini-con pack, too bad it's a Pulse exclusive.

In any cases I really have questions about what Mark said, that Armada SS is a partial of Reactivate?

How? Where? They are entirely different?

So are we assuming they used Jackknife with Sonar and Jetstorm for the mini con names because Maverick and Skull Buster would be too difficult for trademark purposes?

They have the same crotch.

Hasbro previously used "Maverick" for the Top Gun collab figure.

Really? What did they mean about "Lock On" feature?

Supposedly something built into Swindle himself meant to be used in tandem with the Legacy Armada Starscream figure, but they didn't elaborate on it in anyway.

I remember on the original toy Swindle doubled as a shiv/shield type thing.

I have a feeling it's probably just some sort of connector or clips built into the bottom of Swindle's altmode meant to attach him to the top of Starscream's jet mode like on the original toy, as the Legacy Armada Starscream doesn't have any ports or pegs on the top of his jet mode where Swindle should go that Swindle could attach to without some kind of assistance.

And this is why I hate it when they try to shoehorn something new to a figure that's almost 5 years old, and was never designed for this kind of compatibility.

They should have realized at the time that people would have wanted a Mini-Con to go with the figure and planned ahead of time with some kind of peg or port built into the figure.

Even the older Thrilling 30 Deluxe class Armada Starscream figure had two Mini-Con ports built into the top of its jet mode.

I think they're referring to the unique clip on Swindle's peg.

He'll probably attach to the underside of the nosecone rather than the top of the jet.

I don't have mine handy so I don't know if that makes or not, but I seem to remember it being hollow underneath.

I admit, I want the Minicons but I don't need a third copy of the Red Alert mode.

If it helps at all, I took this exact Walmart gamble on preorders for Swerve, Cliffjumper, Ratchet, Sideways, Nexus, and Outback, and the only one that got cancelled was Outback.

I've also been successful on Sideways, Swerve, Wheelie and Outback, while I did have SS86 Soundwave and AotP Powerglide cancelled on me, hence the double pre-order on figures I must have.

Latest wave is pretty cool, but I will only get a couple.

Joyride! I am excited for him, pre-ordered him.

Tailgate's head is so fugly, why does he keep looking worse despite technical engineering improvements since his T30 toy?

I have Vortex, good there.

I have Pointblank, I don't need a 2nd slightly different version.

I have Fangry, good there, glad he is getting an individual release for others to get him though.

Vector repaint is cool, but I am going to wait to see him in store or get him on a sale.

Preordered Swindle, nearly there with Bruticus!

I love Megazarak, so I preordered him, lovely colors too!

I will wait to see the Herald in store or on sale to get one, maybe 2.

Powerlinx Red Alert with all the minicons is great, and the price isn't terrible for what you are getting. Still a bit sad they didn't include powerlinx Hot Shot/Red Alert/Galvatron minicon repaints. Maybe another minicon pack to follow in the future to include them plus maybe Metroplex.

Can't see any similarity. and yes, I was looking at my toy's crotch and comparing it to a picture.

It would be hilarious if that was it though.

With Swindle preordered, I'm still missing Brawl and Onslaught. I hope it won't be too much hassle getting them eventually.

I would bank on Brawl being the tough one and focus on him.

So far, I believe only Pulse and Amazon put up Onslaught for pre-order, and both sold out. But amazon always seems to get more in than the release for pre-order, so keep an eye there if they are your preferred source. Target has been pretty reliable for commanders both online and in store, so I'm looking to them once he is available, plus depending on timing he might line up with a sale or a target circle reward for me.

Yeah Silverbolt was kinda hard to preorder but was plentifully stocked once he was in.

Brawl is the biggest concern, he was now 2 voyager waves ago, so he may get difficult. If you see a Nexus, you missed the Brawl Wave.
