Big news for G1 fans, the original Optimus Prime toy is being reissued in cartoon colors as part of Walmart's exclusive G1 reissue retro line. It comes with what the original toy came with, so a trailer and roller. It was revealed in preview night at SDCC along with SS86 Optimus Prime. We have a bunch of images of more toys shown off during this preview night like The upcoming Threezero Transformers One figures. Check them all out below. Pics courtesy of Protoman.

RID Prime now includes a Cerebros Titan Master. Cool, but also a bummer since it means we're never getting a proper Brave Maximus repaint of Fort Max.

G1 Prime repaint looks good, I like that they updated the artwork in toon colors. Might be one to keep in the box. Wish they would have still used a sticker on the trailer just to cover those screw holes.

Oh, and it turns out that leaked CC Prime box was real.

Walmart getting yet another Retro release in animation colors. For those MIB collectors this has got to be the most annoying thing, since it won't match the cartoon boxes of the other releases.

It does match Soundwave and Blaster though.


Also, for those keeping count, this is the 30th (31/32 if you count Missing Link) release for a G1 Optimus Prime in 40 years.

The trailer might go well with Takara's Missing Link Prime. A bit much to pay for just an accessory, but ...

Me as well. I have the animation colors Missing Link Convoy, but no actual version of an original Prime, so this would cover all of the bases nicely.

Hasbro is revealing quite a bit during SDCC. We already saw the 40th Anniversary G1 Prime along with SS86 Commander Prime on the preview night, but now we have the final 2024 wave of Studio Series, collabs and more Legacy.

For Studio Series, they revealed:

- Core BB Starscream
- Core BB concept Frenzy
- Deluxe Class Gamer Edition Reactivate Bumblebee in clean deco
- Deluxe Transformers One Megatron

That Ratchet is EVERYTHING I’ve ever wanted, the rest of these reveals can move aside. It always baffled me he never got a figure back during the OG FOC/WFC figure line.

But seriously, all of these rock, even that Kup.

So we're not getting Sureshot? How is it that we've completed the Decepticon Targetmasters, Decepticon Headmasters, 2/3 of the small Decepticon Headmasters, small Decepticon Targetmasters,..... and yet we still don't have ANY small Autobot Targetmasters or Headmasters, we only have 2 of the Autobot Targetmasters (from different lines, and 4 years apart)? It doesn't make sense to me, especially when you could retool the Beachcomber mold fairly easily to make Sureshot.

Did they literally just replace the Sureshot with a freaking Origins Bumblebee re-release? That is some crap. Hopefully they can release Sureshot in selects or the next toyline

Kup is great, definitely a buy even if I haven't for round to picking up soundwave yet. I don't know how they keep doing bludgeon figures that I don't want but I'm wanting ruckus.

Kitt almost looks like they have used a classics figure as a base in order to actually get a good looking car mode. Not too sure about the pop up lights deco, the blue on the thighs (red might have been better) and no chest hair...
and in the one Tf they really needed battery/led they could have done some light pipe techno wizardry - though mp rhinox and other figures shows things have gone a bit backwards in that area compared to g2. Having said all that, looks great and I'm picking him up but will definitely need to find an old powertron version to go next to him.

The dino king packaging is really good, I might pick them up having had no interest in the dinobots. In combined mode they will should avoid looking like recolored dinobots

Now we need the A-Team van, the General Lee & Airwolf!

Friendship? Dinoking is a PulseCon exclusive so not until PulseCon which is September 13 this year (Friday the 13th). Last year they went up at 4pm EST for Premium, 5pm for everyone else, probably the same this year.
