You can only find the die cast one on ebay.

The dvd version can be found all over the internet, and in reduced price sections...

Thanks fellas for the replies. Nah, I don't care for the 20th/DVD edition, has to be the "battle damage" version. IMHO,this looks the best. You know I was thinking, my old lady's job will be taking her to Hong Kong in about 4 days on business. Do you guys know if there are any good hobby/toy shops there, or in Kowloon that would carry any of the MP OP ? Also, do you think it would be cheaper over there ? Thanks again.

Peace, Marcusg

You might be able to find one in Hong Kong, or maybe a KO.It'll be a lot cheaper made than the MP, but it may make a nice display piece.

Er...Masterpiece Convoy, 20th. Anniversary, and 20th. Anniversary DVD Edition Prime (with the talking base, also known as 22nd. Anniversary) all have Die Cast. (Unfortunately.)

Actually, all versions of the Masterpiece Convoy/20th. Anniversary Prime mold have battle damage. It's molded into the limbs. You'll see it if you look closely at the body.

However, Hasbro decided to compliment that molded damage along with scorch marks etc.... which is available on the original 20th. Anniversary Prime. (No voice base.)

20th. (22nd. of TF, period) Anniversary DVD Edition Prime lacks the battle damage paint, but retains the the molded marks on the limbs due to it being cast from the same mold as the Masterpiece Convoy. (They all are.) It also has brighter, cartoony colors to go along with the original movie.

So, Marcus, it's up to you to decide which one you want.

In my opinion the 20th DVD looks cheap, because everything that was chrome and shiny (like the G1 toy) was replaced by mat gray paint and, in my opinion making it look cheap. the original MP-01/04 look the best followed by the 20th anniv. edition.

I'm looking into buying the DVD edition on the cheap to complement my collection but I think i'll wait untill I can ship with with the G1 MP starscream..

All good points, but the biggest problem with the DVD Prime is that he's orange (or at least the HUK one is)

Cheers,
Doug

He was definitely the best, I made sure to get the long smokestacks for him off of Ebay a while ago. I have not seen him in stores for a long time, and you're right the DVD version is cheaper looking. I don't really like the grey gun either.

Well.. the orange is bearable (It actually matches the RiD red used on the boxes) but the BLUE CANNON..

THE FRIGGING BLUE CANNON!

I only need to get the 20th anniv. edition and then I'm set.. my 20th anniv. DVD version just came in...
