Megator or Skeletron: the next crossover?

I'm not sure if this is rumor or factual, it depends on the sources. But supposedly the next crossover planned is Masters of The Universe. The details seem to be speculation, but it seems likely this will happen. Here's the link I found, remember your grain of salt.

Sky Raider that turns into He-Man or something like that.

Maybe a Roton that turns into Skeletor later.

I would be interested in this... As with anything toy-related, it just depends on the figures look/how it's all done and is coalesced.

Beast Wars Battle Cat with a Power Sword. Maybe a Panthor repaint? But I'll take whatever. This is one of the big ones for me.

I wonder if they would go the 2-pack route like for the JP releases with an easy Battle Cat repaint of Kingdom Cheetor or Tigratron and a new mold that transforms into He-Man that would scale to be able to ride Battle Cat. That would be pretty sweet and set up a second 2-pack.

I know we've discussed this before in the forum and I thought it was in the news, too, but I can't find. Pretty sure it was the one codenamed "Sword".

Look like they've been revealed!

It's pretty disappointing. It's very much a MOTU focused project flavored with TF. I suppose there's still a chance we'll see a proper transformer as part of this, but I dunno. Right now it's a pretty big disappointment for me. MOTU guys wearing TF inspired armor doesn't do much for me.

I'll likely pick them all up, I'm in too deep on motu stuff but admittedly these are not the best. Skeletor might have been better as galvatron, keldor as megatron and man at arms as wheeljack (hey the kevin smith poodoo had white armor so not too far a stretch).
If they go the exta mile on the sculpting and do rokkon as unicron....

skeletors weapons look fun and I like the colors of man at arms

Better link.

I have a passing interest in MOTU. I like MOTU. I bought Michelangelo from the TMNT crossover and I might buy Battle Cat Man from the Thundercats one. But this? This does ... nothing for me. Absolutely nothing.

It's like Skeletor and Man at Arms found the TF's dead bodies and started to wear them as armor. No transforming weapons even? It's rough. It's jarring in a bad way. While I feel that the TMNT and Thundercats crossovers work well because their styles kind of compliment each other.

I suppose I can hold out hope that we'll get something from the Hasbro side, but it seems sort of futile.

Masters of the Universe x Transformers Crossover Figures Revealed at SDCC

Mattel and Hasbro announced at SDCC 2025 the Masters of the Universe X Transformers cross over figures. The two figures that announced are "Bumblebee Armor Man-At-Arms" and "Megatron Armor Skeletor."
These figures are based on the Masters of the Universe Classics 5.5 inch scale that have 16 points of articulation. The figures are made so that body parts can easily be switched between each other. A mini-comic pack in will provide a background story to the crossover, much line the original MOTU line!
The figures should be available Fall of 2025 at $32.99 each.

So not impressed by this. It’s kind of lazy really.

That's a lot of money for what we're getting. The TMNT and Thundercats crossovers came with a lot of stuff and were normal priced (Skell-Ra is $31.99 but he's HUGE). MAA looks like a regular standard figure, he should be $20 at most. Skeletor is more Deluxe (in MOTU terms) but would still be under $30. Hopefully we see the prices even out by release.

Of the two I am only slightly tempted by megatron skeletor- man st arms seems lazy- can only assume there is a heroptimus hiding in the shadows

My two favorite lines, combined together, somehow the sum manages to be less than the parts added together. The Street Fighter/Transformers Crossover was more what I was expecting for this honestly.

Bumblebee armor would get wet in the rain. Man-at-arms would be better off just in his birthday suit.

Not a big fan of Bumblebee-at-Arms but I do like Mega Skeletor. Hopefully there is a small backstory that explains this crossover

Agreed with kuhlio. In fact, this continues a trend of laziness that I've noticed brewing in the MOTUxTMNT offerings I pass every time I'm in Target. In addition to the non-transforming, Bee-At-Arms is almost nonensical. Ironhide-At-Arms would make more sense, while Bee seems like a more natural Orko...no wait, Wheeljack-O inventing new magic spells that misfire would kind of jive. Bumblebee should be mashed-up with Cringer, then powered up into Gold-Battle-Bug when he has the power.

And while Opt-He-Mus is inevitable...Hot Rod would work SO much better. I have believed that ever since I read that first Blackthorne 3D book where Hot Rod was sure Rodimus would show up and save the day. Although we never learned what those "weekend plans" would've been in a proper issue #2, I always pictured him taking out the Matrix and declaring:

"By the Power of Primus, light--"

*SPAKOW!* (blinding flash)

"--Ourrr Darrrrkest HOUUUUURRRRR!"

Then he hops on Sky Lynx's lower half, and...

No, I'm not faulting any official x-over for not adhering to my 5-second fanfic, and I really try not be that guy, but this is gonna' suck briefly, then be instantly forgotten outside of a few wikis. I'll admit, I was never a He-Fan back in the day, but I hope that franchise isn't just plain out of ideas other than crossovers.

Ended up ordering them from Target.com. I had a Circle Reward for 15% off my cart so I was able to get them for $26.40 each. Also grabbed two other MotU figures $16 each, and cancelled my SS86 Wheeljack and Sideswipe and the AotP 4 pack and reordered them for $20 each and $72 respectively. Love those Target coupons. Now I just have to hope nothing gets delayed so they don't cancel them on me.

MOTU x Transformers Line has added Optimus Prime He-Man

Today at 9am PST, Mattel is scheduled to open up preorders for a "surprise announcement" for Masters of the Universe collectors. Target has beaten Mattel to the punch and has already opened up preorders for the next installment of the the MOTU X Transformers line. This time it is Optimus Prime Armor He-Man. Like Bumblebee Armor Man-At-Arms and Megatron Armor Skeletor, this figure is a MOTU Classics buck He-Man with Matrix Power Sword, Energy Shield, Orange Energy Axe, and removable faceplate. The Target pre-order is slated for a January release.

For members of Club Grayskull, an announcement of a hero--- and villain was sent out yesterday. Rumors are floating around that the second figure will be the Starscream Armor Scareglow, but no confirmation or official images have surfaced as of yet.

The only thing that runs in my mind right now is that OP got He-man to finally put on some pants. Not even Megatron got Skeletor to do that.

Definitely more for the He-man fans. I think the designers had a lot of fun with this. They went deep in the well if Starscream got paired with Scareglow of all characters.

Still, THE most disappointing crossover for me as He-man was an early childhood fav and I was hoping for something catering to a TF fan out of this.

Starscream Armor Scare Glow Revealed and up for Pre-Order

Mattel's Club Grayskull has posted official images of the Starscream Armor Scare Glow. This figure is part of the MOTU Classic play pattern where parts can be mixed and matched between bucks. The Starscream armor is added onto a Scareglow buck, that according to packaging still has the glow in the dark features. Additional accessories include Coronation gear (crown, cape),and a set of nullrays that will provide Starscream's signature wings.

The figure is currently available for preorder via Club Grayskull at$33.00 ($42.99 if you need to sign up for Club Grayskull) with a release date of May 8,2026. The earlier reported Optimus Prime He-Man armor is also available to Club Grayskull members here with the same price and release date.

Starscream/Scare Glow's price must have been a glitch, it's now the "normal" $33.

Of all the TFxMOTU figures, Starscream looks the most like a kid going to town with a set of Hero Mashers.

Sorry- entirely my bad- Club Grayskull was included as a $10/yr premium. I am not a huge MOTU guy, so I just saw the price on Mattel's site, and did not realize they had already had the membership added onto the price of the figure,
