What toys from Energon would you recommend?

I've been looking at the toy reviews on Ben's World of Transformers of the Energon series and a lot of them look pretty fun and cool. I got 2 questions:
Which ones would you recommend? BTW I already have the 2007 Target redecos of Skyblast and Arcee, so I guess they 'count'.
Which is your favourite toyline out of Armada, Energon and Cybertron?

Personally, I'm a huge Cybertron fan. That toyline pretty much got me back into heavily collecting Transformers again simply because so many of the toys were neat. Of course, it helps that I find the big Optimus Prime from that line to be perhaps one of my most favorite Primes of all time.
I got into Energon too late to be able to pick up alot, but thanks to places like Family Dollar and Big Lots I've been able to pick up a few choice neat figures, especially the various pieces of Superion Maximus, most notably Treadshot and Windrazor.

I've been reading Skywarp's impassioned defence of Energon Prime in some other thread and I am convinced that Energon Prime would be pretty fun. Leader Prime 2007 is still my favourite though.
Rather I'm looking for deluxes or voyagers that are really worth their money. And I acknowledge Cybertron was officially awesome, I wish I had this urge to collect Transformers back then. Too bad it didn't come out until the movie line was released.

Hrmm.. I'll give you my thoughts on good Energon figures.
Just be prepared to pay a bit for them, or travel around to Toyworlds in smaller country towns.
Scout:
Strongarm
Skyblast
Battle Ravage
Sludge
Deluxe:
Rodimus Prime
Prowl
Starscream
Tow Line
Downshift
Inferno
Snowcat
Sharkticon
Cyclonus
Demolisher
Larger:
Scorponok
Tidal Wave
Galvatron
Shockwave
Mirage
Landmine
Goodluck with finding them though, ebay will be your best bet, but their prices are more often than not overly expensive (then ridiculous shipping on top). I was lucky and got most of my Energon figures very cheap from casefresh, later figures have come from various Toyworld and Uncle Pete's stores from smaller towns I have visited on my travels.

I'm just curious, I'm not into them as I am into the movie toys. I will pick them up if I see them. If I don't run into them, it's not too big a deal.
Megatron looks a bit goofy, but it looks like he's got heaps of things to play with.

Must own: Dreadwing/Mirage, whichever color scheme strikes your fancy. Or better yet, get both.

Well, Quickstrike was mentioned, but Bulkhead has a nice Springer painted look to him...though the Superlink 'Sprung' is even better and closer to Springer's look.
Energon Starscream is good, I'd try to get the G1 colors, and Sharkticon is one of my favorite newer molds.
The combining teams are fun too. The best is the Combaticon team, Bruticus Maximus...
Galvatron is pretty cool, and a nice updated look alike to his G1 self.
Rodimus is a must have. He is pretty darn good.
The Checkpoint and Prowl K-Mart Exclusive pack is also a worthy pick up!
Omega Sentinel or Supreme for being Omega, I suppose! But they do look pretty cool too!
And finally, Divebomb. He is one not to miss.
Those are my highly recommended ones...

Just happening to come across Energon figures will be a fairly hard thing to do Raymond101, alot of suburban toy stores (and even TRU) had a big clearance sale for Energon figures.
The only place I still find them (as well as various BM, Universe and even BW toys) is in the small country town Toy stores, even the semi-regional centre toy stores do not seem to stock them anymore.
You may have more luck with the larger figures, and I know that various Clints/Warehouse stores still have some scout class Energon figures here and there (for about $20 each

)

Energon. I passed on all of the when they came out except arcee. Recently i was looking at them again and bought a few and can say thet the superlink toys are a lot of fun and very cool toys anyway. Ive got rodimus, towline, inferno, hotshot, energon hotshot, prowl, downshift, roadblock. Each toy becomes the top or bottom of the linked bot, quite ingenious, some combos look better than others and theres lots of fiddling to be done which canm make the robot look better than the official modes. Some of them are a bit odd looking eg prowl, BUT this is a compromise made to get the possible 4 ways it has to transform ie bot/car/top/bottom. recommended, a lot of fun, remind me of diaclone combining toys somewhat.

I would definitely suggest Sharkticon. I got back into Transformers when the Energon toyline was out, and Sharkticon was my clear favorite of the whole series. Just... ignore the weird color scheme.

I'm a fan of the color scheme of Energon Tidal Wave. He's taller than Megatron and not too complicated. (He also fuses to Armada Megatron, so bonus!)
I find the remolds of Arcee aren't as good as the original casting. I own Energon, Universe, and Movie promo, and Energon is the cleanest looking and has the smoothest joints.
I'm also a fan of Doomlock. It's as close to Grimlock as we'll get and that sword is frikken' awesome.

I saw several Energon toys at my local Toyworld a week ago but I wasn't interested in the toyline at that time.

How come no one likes Signal Flare? I bought the Target redeco and he seems pretty playable to me. So now so far I have Skyblast, Arcee and Signal Flare the omnicons.
