SDCC 2025 Jetfire/Void Rivals Boxed Set Official Pictures Revaled

New promotional pictures have surfaced of the upcoming SDCC 2025 Jetfire with Darak, and Solia boxed set. The pictures that have surfaced give a great look at the upcoming three pack, and the photographer even took the time to recreate the scenes that excited the Transformers community with their first taste of the Energon Universe; which is nice because the pack even includes an excusive copy of Void Rivals #1.

Jetfire is a reissue of the Commander without any "space mud," wher Darak and Solia are O-Ring based figures (think G.I. Joe).

These figures will be available from Hasbro at SDCC, as well as at the Fan Expo booth in China for a price of $120.16.

Deja-Revolution! Interesting that another big-ol' Jetfire is the Transformer representative in yet another SDCC box set signifying yet another set of interconnected books from yet another comic company.

I wonder if anyone at Harmony Gold is interpreting Jetfire=crossover as a dig at his original Macross ties. Aside from a few laughs, nothing came of that cease and desist order over the Jetfire-ish piggyback Skystriker, did it?

While I kinda want Darak and Solia, I don't want em enough for the price of another, slightly plainer Jetfire.

I am in the same boat- I really want the VR figures, but not enough to warrant a new Jetfire--- plus when it comes to Joe I am a much bigger fan of the 25th era body, so going back to O-Rings pulls me away more sadly--- but as @Bumblevivisector said--- I passed on the Revolution set for the same reason.

Aye, the o-ring is a turn-off, for sure.

The choice to do O-rings is such a strange one. Hasbro isn't really doing O-ring figures right now so why put these non-G.I.Joe designs into that form factor? The IDW set that also featured Jetfire would have made much more sense as O-ring figures (not that they were doing any at the time, but at least it had G.I.Joe), this is just weird, I don't know who they made it for. All they really did was add $40 to the price. Could have been maybe better to do 4" figures or maybe even go the other direction with 2.5" or 3" figures. I mean, are you sticking these with your Super7 figures or Star Wars or something? As a stand alone set they can just be anything in any form factor, this set doesn't make sense I imagine a lot of people will keep it in the box.

even trying to dig into the last few Hasbro O-Ring releases, and even the Super 7 stuff I can't really identify if any of these parts are re-used from other Joes--- again not sure why they didn't go 25th body style!
