Thanks to Walmart, new listings have surfaced for two more retro card back figures. Wheelie and Outback have been unveiled as part of Walmart's October Collector Con.
Outback is as expected, a re-mold of the Studio Series Brawn mold with a new head and gun.
Wheelie looks to be a new mold, complete with slingshot.
Both of these figures are listed at the "old" deluxe price of $24.97, and are slated to be available on October 10th at 7am PST (10 AM EST), most likely for preorder....

Now we just have to wait and ask our selves if we place the Walmart preorder... "will they get shipped, if we purchase it?"

So now we can add Outback, and a new Wheelie to the list with Seaspray of new(ish) molds that we're waiting to get animation decos. May I stress a NEW deluxe Wheelie?

Well, the odds are better than they have historically been. I pre-ordered Excellon and Sideways, Excellon shipped and Sideways was cancelled, but available online again and in stock shortly after and shipped properly. I also pre-ordered Seaspray who was just delivered yesterday. So Walmart is 2 for 3 on pre-orders so far this year for me, which is much better than in the past when they pretty much screwed up everything. In fact, the cancellation of my Sideways pre-order was a blessing in disguise as I was able to order in stock Sideways with the pre-order of Seaspray for free shipping on orders above $35. I didn't want toy head Brawn, so ordering Seaspray alone would have cost me shipping.

I am just happy someone noticed my futile attempt at rhyming and poetry to address the wishy washy preorders- from WalMart!

Both look fine. But I'm sure Wheelie will be getting the SS86 treatment in "26" or "27". Walmart's distribution of TF figures, has been terrible the last few years so I won't break my neck hunting down Outbreak either.

The new Wheelie mould looks great in this reveal, but I will wait for the "wild boy of Quintesson" repaint before I seal the deal.

So far I'm 4 for 4 on getting the Retros from Walmart.com (technically 8 for 8 since I've been buying duplicates). I'm not terribly optimistic about them improving, but it's nice that I can say I've been on a good streak for now. Still haven't seen the second set in stores even though they have that big display set up for them.

If Outback came with an electronic voice box, it would be an instant buy. Best voice accent, ever.

Have a soft spot for Outback due to his part in helping Prime upon his return to Cybertron in the TFUK comics back in the day.

So I'm guessing that either Walmart hasn't put these up for pre-order yet, or they opened them early and the bots bought them all up. I got on their site just before 7:00am Eastern time and they have been saying out of stock since.

Edit, looks like they opened the pre-orders sometime this morning. I forgot to check for an hour or so, but lucked out and was able to just place my order.

D'oh! I completely misread that time originally. I'm so used to official times for most things being in EST first and other zones in parenthesis.

The first Transformers generations, Walmart exclusives are now out. They are out in Walmarts in the US and Canada. Both Autobot Outback and Wheelie are new releases, with Wheelie being a completely new mould that doesn’t seem to have a release in a different line. Below our reviews for you to get the best look at these two points. Let us know if you are excited to own them.

Oh it's been longer than that, I've been doing news since 2014 (so 12 years), but it's the first 10 years that I was contributing the most. I was single then and am now marries with 3 kids.
