Jtprime17 over at TFW2005 has leaked a new set of codenames for the Transformers Collaborative line as has become something of a yearly tradition. While these tend to be very vague, and this batch is no different, one in particular stands out for directly calling out "Monster Jam 1" which is similar to how the Hot Wheels crossovers were coded. For the uninitiated, Monster Jam is the biggest monster truck show in America (and probably the world). There's also one that appears to be set aside from San Diego Comic Con this summer. List is as follows:

• “kick”
• “race”
• “green”
• “song" (SDCC exclusive)
• “cemetry”
• “monster jam 1”

Some guesses

“kick” - New Street Fighter crossover
“race” - Nascar
“green” - Hulk
“song" (SDCC exclusive) - Kpop Demon Hunters
“cemetry” - I have no idea
"monster jam 1” - Grave Digger, has to be!

Surely one of these is the Thomas the Tank Engine crossover... the green one has GOTTA be Percy...

Also, a shot in the dark, what if the song one is a box set based off Cybertronic Spree?

Interesting, most of those sound like Monster Trucks honestly.

There is a Hulk Monster truck that is green,
There is a Race Ace Monster truck
There is a Kicking and Screaming truck
etc...

Cemetery may be a new Universal Monster crossover. We still have Mummy, Creature, Phantom and Wolfman pending. so take your pick. Probably The Mummy.

Monster Jam 1, likely Grave Digger yes.

Would not mind a Nascar crossover. Kind of already had that crossover for Dark of the Moon Wrecker guys. But I would not mind something more traditional in terms of transformation. Maybe they'll just be re-shelled Agent Knights without the electronics.

Wouldn't "cemetery" be a better code name for Grave Digger?

It's "cemetry" so I have no idea if it's a misspelling of "cemetery" or "symmetry".

If it's cemetery then maybe a zombie?

Edt: Monster Jam 1 - Not having the faintest clue about Yankee truck bashing craze, I imagiined Monster Jam was some massive sweet food treat like peanut butter jam sandwich.

Mattel manufactures Monster Jam toys (e.g., Gravedigger, Soldier Fortune, Zombie) alongside its own in-house brands (e.g., Bigfoot, Tigershark, Mega Wrecks), so would this be Hasbro collaborating directly with Monster Jam, or indirectly through Mattel?

I doubt they're all monster trucks, but FWIW Mattel's Race Ace has a bright green recolor called "Gunkster". That's some easy money for Mattel/Hasbro and thr colors are very vs.

My collab guesses:

Kick - Something NBA like they did with NFL.
Race - Hare & tortoise 2 pack.
Green - Power ranger. Or Lantern.
Song (SDCC exclusive) - I touch myself by Divinyls.

Edit: Another guess.
Song - Teenage dirtbag by Wheatus. The lyric goes something like "Her boyfrends a d!ick. He brings a gun to school." A true G1 Megatron collab that isn't a tank. Finally.

It appears "kick" is a soccer/football collab. Didn't see that on the house hunt MLS.

I was super annoyed at how lazy the transformation was, but then realized the robot mode is actually based on a Grim toy, which made it a little better but dang they should have integrated more of that iconic alt into the robot

I got the Monster Jam Furioso and Big Tooth. My friend paid the full 35$CAN plus taxes each (DELUXE PRICE!) and he hated them. So much that he sold them to me for only 20$CAN each. And let me tell you, they aren't worth more.



The trucks are big and impressive. They are beautiful and roll super well.









However, the overall quality is GARBAGE!

First, we lift the arms.





Then we move the legs.



Then, at least one of the FUKKING leg FUKKING pop off.



Separate the arms and pray the shoulder wheels won't pop off.



Pop back the leg in, pull out the head, and boom, here's your tall, very tall bricks:



Very HOLLOW bricks. So hollow that you could eat cereal out of these.



Appart the knees that will make the legs ASSPLODE and some shoulders, there's zero articulations. The bots are tall, yes, but they only look like something from the front.



Overall, are they worth the DELUXE price?
Oh Hell NO. That price is an insult and make zero sense. The huge Cyberworld toys like Soundwave and Megatron are 1000X better for the same price. They should be 20$ maximum.

If you want them, either never, ever transform them or wait for a deep, deep discount.

These look like cheap KOs. Hollow, limited articulation, falls apart during transformation.

I would have no problem with them if those were 20$CAN or the price of a Core Class. But at DELUXE price, this is an insult.

Regardless, with my fix, these are somewhat enjoyable.
