Is There A Difference?

I noticed that the Unleashed Bumblebee with the comic book has a lighter yellow used in the paint job... where else the one that I got, without the comic book (because I couldn't find the comic one) seems to have a more yellower paint just like it looks in the movie. So my questions :

1.Is that difference true about the paint being lighter in the comic exclusive Unleashed Bumblebee? Or could it just be the camera shot angle?

2. Are there any other differences?

The unleashed line is dead. Im not sure where hasbro is going with it now. They dont sell well, take up alot of shelf space and are very niche. I have every star wars unleashed figure. And those were the reasons for discontinueing the line in the first place.

It would be great if they put some more out though. the next 2 turnaround unleashed figs look like crap. no where near as good as bumblebee.

Yeh I know there not as good as the Bumblebee ones. But still I prefer them to the Deluxe and Voyagers... just my thing thats all... people are going to say your crazy. But I find it wrong when many of my friends come over my house... the first thing they say is wow that Bumblebee that is standing on the car is a really nice model... where'd you get it? But hardly ever comment on the Deluxes... but people have different opinions.

But anyway just so you know I didn't ask for a comment on the turnarounds... I asked a question...

Oh believe me. I totally understand. I love the unleashed line. I have all 30+ of them on a shelf and everytime my friends come over they stop and stare. They always say how cool they look. The detail and paint apps are incredible. My friends dad sculpted some of them back when the line started out. They're great show pieces.

Superion your the only one that has basically said that about Unleashed (not including me) lol finally someone that has the same thoughts like me. Every time I say Unleashed... people on here are like "they are so dumb" which I agree in some ways... but in others they can be one of my favorites.

Well, I think people need to view them as they are: pieces of art. Not a toy.

Oh I wouldn't go so far as to say they're dumb, exactly.

And as Superion said, they're meant to be looked upon as pieces of art, not a toy.

I guess the problem for me is, with the name TransFormers slapped on it, that's exactly what I expect it to do. Transform.

But, I say, to each their own. If you enjoy them, more power to you. And hey, the ones I don't buy, means more for you guys.

About the differences in Bumblebee, I can't tell you without seeing pics of both versions. I would say, however, that the main figure (in national chain stores) is most likely the accurate one. It has more of a darker yellow/orangish tinge to it, somewhat like the actual figure and the movie model.

Exclusives tend to use lighter color schemes in this line, it would seem. Robovision Prime for example.

Ok thanks for your information... Autobot032... I tend to notice the differences with exclusives too :)

I love the unleashed line. I think that Unleashed Bumble Bee has one of the best sculpts I've ever seen. I am definitely going to pick-up a couple once I get a little extra money.

I think they should just limit the pieces and continue the line. Advertise it more towards collectors than children. I would love to have one Unleashed for every movie character.

They're great stuff.

HEY! I like Unleashed line too even I don't have any yet. But I'm sure I'm going to get Bumblebee when I can afford. ;;)

I don't know why no one likes the Unleashed line. Sure, they don't transform, but neither do the 3" Titaniums or Robot Heroes, and everyone buys those!

But yeah, they should definetly do more Unleashed Transformers. Bumblebee is great, and Star wars was even better too.
