I recently bought an Alpha Trion and Weird Wolf exclusive set on Ebay and when I opened it, Alpha Trion has no electronics. So no lights and sounds. Is he supposed to? Or did they leave them out on the exclusive? I just wanted to see if mine was a mistake or if they all are supposed to be electronic-less.

No electronics, thats just how it is.

The electronics in most Transformers are just cheap gimmicks anyway. I don't miss them.

Indeed. In fact, convention exclusives thus far don't have electronics installed in the toy at all, even if the original had them. Other examples are Megazarak and Sentinel Maximus of OTFCC 2004. This is to cut down production costs, as the price per toy raises the less is produced; that's why limited exclusives, let alone convention exclusives, are so expensive.

Of course if you REALLY wanted the electronics you could always buy the standard figure and attack both with a little screwdriver. Probably not worth the hassle overall though. Except for Sentinel Maximus. The G1 transforming sound effect on ML Magnus is cool.

Yeah, no exclusives from Fun Pub have electronics in them, except for Astrotrain, who has the electronics in his gun that Armada Jetfire has.

Heheh I DID actually! Well I got the set for $152 with shipping, but I definately had that WTF!?!?? moment.
