I saw him while browsing TFU.info and thought it was a great re-paint. I have very little knowledge of Takara stuff.

Not too rare, as I was able to buy one on clearance a few years back. Of course with time, and more collector's demand, more and more things become harder to get.

BTW it is a really cool repaint!

I'm wishing I had picked one up back when he was more plentiful. Still may get one. The Nucleon Quest version is pretty cool too.

not that rare, they seem to be on ebay every couple of months or so, tend to fetch around $80-$130. although the last one i saw was under $40

There's one at my local hobby shop. I think the sticker price is about 75 USD. I'm tempted, but I'm trying to make my apartment look less like a Toys R Us.

I have the Optimus US version of this, although I'm not sure why I bought it as a kid, probably because it was a Prime. I'm not too fond of it though?!
