I'm guessing his dad worked for Hasbro. The toys look like they're in played with condition.
That would also explain why such rare items aren't MISB.

I know these are super rare and all, but I don't like the colors. They make Menasor all goofy looking, like something from and Easter basket.

Im interested as to how a UK seller got them, as I thought the few that were made went to the USA.
Pretty good condition for "played with" figures.
Goodluck to anyone going for them.

Would it really be particularly difficult to repaint a series of G1 Combaticons?
Most of them seem to consist of one specific color and have a simplistic design.
I'd certainly attempt it if I had the time and materials.
