Yeah that's right, the good times are over. Used to walking in and having Transformers overwhelm you, well...
It appears that is not the case for much longer. My TRU in Westland, Michigan has already pulled down the huge corner movie display they had put up. It's gone! Replaced by some kind of toddler toy display.
So where did all of these toys go? Well, they filled up the aisle as best they could, but besides that they have a shelving unit set up by the customer service area, with all the voice changing helmets, and role play toys on it.
I did not see any anywhere else. I didn't see any center aisle area units with Tfs, no endcaps,...

Yup, we had our moment, now it appears to be waning away, enjoy it while you can!

I've got a couple of the big Target endcaps that have the huge Autobot symbol with the glowing eyes.
One went over the window in my Transformers room and the other one is going on Ebay next week.

The one by my hotel that I visited last night didn't have the display, I figured it was only in certain stores (TRU in Peoria did have it when I was there previously)

Ya I feel the same pain. I went to TRU last night and was very disappointed that it was gone. Obviously it can't last forever, but it's just too bad that the only time you can be sure to find anything is on a movie toy line release date. I really wish that was the way each wave was handled, much like many Japanese toy lines are released over in Japan.
I also hit up Target right after TRU, and there was pretty much no movie toys left at all. Just all the random role playing and kid accessory items.

WalMart, Target and TRU have been empty for weeks. Some are taking down their displays and even cutting their TF sections in half. I wonder if they plan to restock at all at this point?

They will, but it won't be until the fall reset, which should be in late August.

What's this about a "reset?" Wha's that?

My TRU -- both of them -- moved the TF toys to the general action figures section.

On a side note, I almost got a leftover Scrapmetal there but decided against it. Little did I know that my grandmother would have bought it for me! Ho ho!

I am scoping around to snag a display where I can. TRU has some pretty nifty ones.

My TRU had a huge TF display as well as a TF section in the action figure aisle. The TF section was very empty last week and I had high hopes that they would restock.
When I went there this week, the huge display was gone and the TF section was just restocked with leftovers from the display.
So basically there are just tons of Voyager Ironhides and Starscreams surrounded by pegs and pegs AND pegs of the gimmicky toys. Oh how I hate them so.

Even though the displays are still around here, the only stores that had them where Target and WalMart, the figures have been totally wiped out. I can't wait for the fall reset. I may actually find an '08 'Bee!

I went to the TRU and they took down the display at the entrace. They have half of an aisle left. They had a couple Starscreams, 5 Ironhides, 1 Blackout/Scorponok set, and a butt load of protoforms.

Same here, TRU had the TFs moved back to the action figure isle and were pretty much wiped out. There was one Jazz left. Wal-Mart and 3 Targets here have also been completely out of stock for the past two weeks.

Most stores "reset" their toy eisles twice a year. It usually involves moving everything around and stocking newer stuff. They usually do them around Feb/March(after the Holiday seasons die down), and in Aug/Sep, in order to prepare for the shopping season.

The same happpened to the toys r us where I live. Last week they had that Tf section ,and then they took it off this week. When I went there. Well it was fun and brief while it lasted. The movie toy selection of the toy r us where I live stinks as of late. They never put out either Leader Optimus or Megatron. They put the others like both the deluxes and Fabs but they sold out quick. They have more protoforms than anything right now. Last week I went to Walmart and the shelves there were seiberia. Have to yet go there but I'm in no hurry. Would love to get two more movie figures and that's it.

I've had folks scouring WalMarts and Targets in about 9 different cities across the US and Canada. I'm getting the same story from every one. Completely empty aisles. Every store here where I am (four WalMarts, two Targets and a TRU) have been empty for weeks.
No clue what's going on at this point. I'd still like to get Leader Prime and 08 Bumblebee. ><

I have a feeling that what's going on with TF store stock is one terrible combination of poor Hasbro distrubution, extreme popularity, and those f$%#!n scalpers...ERRRGGGH...

Has anyone else noticed that Target is starting some sort of reset today? I went to two local ones, and there were 4 or 5 employees clearing out toy aisles and putting all the toys on some mobile peg cart. One had two toy aisles completely cleaned out. Anyone else seen this?
