Aaaaargh noooooooo!
Nah, he doesn't look terrible, but why or why did they have to add the ice? That's just so lame and useless. and Leader Megatron has the same horrible paintjob. Aaaaargh this is what keeps me up at night.

considering leader megs doesnt have a nice paint job and quite costlyand also seeing custom repaints much better, if your the person who just want to have megs just for granted i'll grab this one...

would there be a possibilty that hasbro might produce a repaint of this figure?i think even with the ice on i can deal with that just change the color of the main body into a more darker looking color like a rusty color that would enhance megatron's character?

I'm waiting for a completely new Megatron toy. One they can get RIGHT.
Unless I turn up drunk to Toyworld and buy the Leader Megs. Then I will also buy some paints to improve that paintjob.

The voyager looks much worse. The leader version looks much better even though it's still not that good. If it had the accurate color from the film it would of been an improvement. I don't know what the heck Hasbro was thinking when they were painting him. Wait til the movie leader Megatron goes on clearance. Get him cheaper later this year. Maybe they might paint him with the right colors in a little while. They even made a repaint of Leader Optimus Prime. So have some patience.

Good advice spacer. I actually painted the grey plastic of my own Leader Prime with some metallic chrome because I wasn't happy with the cheap grey, but even without the extra paint I'm happy with Leader Prime and probably won't get the Nightwatch version.
Megs is just not good enough to buy at his normal retail price; I'm hoping they will do a repaint altogether, but if it goes on clearance I'm happy to take him home. Over here in my local Target even with the toy sale going on till tomorrow, both versions of Megatron are already shelfwarming whilst all Leader Primes are sold out - a good sign that Hasbro should take seriously.

Best kept MISB in your collection or left on the store shelf.
