I think that a large backpack is better than being overly bulky. LC Prime has kibble all over, which reduces his poseability.

i would agree... but to an extent. I mean, large backpack is fine. Outrageously collosal is not! I could use voyager prime as a hammer...

The difference is, Leader Class Prime utilizes all of his pieces in robot and vehicle modes. Everything goes somewhere, and integrates.

Voyager is not only a robot crawling out of a backpack, but he's a cheat in his transformation.

Who dares bash the greatness that is leader class Prime!? We are now enemies!

I do love the frontal look of Voyager Prime, but that backpack just ruins it. So much good but invalidated by that spot of bad. At least make that thing detach and turn into some kind of shield or weapon or.. hell I dunno, that's why Hasbro should be hiring creative people.

By the way, I've never seen a Voyager Prime in person. Not in any stores here, but I look forward to seeing him someday.

To each their own, I guess. I hardly mess with my LC Prime while my RV Prime is always in dynamic poses, together with the rest of the movie figures.

that's the ONLY thing that keeps me from considering buying voyager prime...the backpack. i could deal with the transformation cheat, but the massive kibble...urgh.

It's not as bad in RL as it looks in the pictures. I rather like it. He stands very well despite it, and the figure overall looks very good.

For me, it's a few things...

1.) The backpack. (The most glaring issue. It boggles my mind.)

2.) The hands. (WTF?)

3.) The knees. (Or the cover, whatever you want to call it. Looks like he's about to play Hockey from Hell....)

The backpack is a minor issue, and since it weighs next to nothing really does not play that great a part in posing and displaying him.

He does however have fairly shoddy and weak knees, and he does not have ankles at all, which does limit his posing and displaying prowess.

i thought this thread was gonna say: "i would instantly buy voyager/robo-vision Prime if... he wasnt so hard to find." because i want want one, but he's so gosh darn hard to find!!

You can thank the scalpers for that.

No its PERFECT GRADE RX-78, he fell after a I posed him wrong and I havent got around to standing him up (Too distracted by my transformers )
