Help- Movie '74 Bumblebee will not transform.

The front "hood" section of my '74 Bumblebee will not lock into place in vehicle mode. It feels like the spring inside the axle area is pushing everything out. Is he broken? Has anyone else had this problem?

ive read somewhere on here of people having similar problems, the thread is somewhere around here with solutions. its either a piece on the inside broke off, or you gotta push in real good to get it to lock.

Chances are that you have f'd it up. did you pull down the hood the first time you transformed him?

There's an easy to break plastic tab that holds the spring loaded hood in place. There is a button at the back of the hood scoop that releases it. If you forced it, it probably broke.

but what if some poor kid ends up with this busted bumblebee then getter dragon? or any of the other broken bumblebees?

If you tell them that it's broke, I don't believe they're going to restock it on the shelves....
